Twilight Dash 28 June 18, 2012 #26 Share June 18, 2012 The show might be going downhill since there are alot of bad episodes in season 2 like Baby Cakes, The Last Round-Up, A Friend In Deed and MMMystery On The Friendship Express. I dunno about those episodes, I kind of like them. The Mysterious Mare Do Well is probably a better 'bad' example, but I wouldn't say there's been anything as cringe-inducing as newer Spongebob episodes(and hopfully there never will be). But so far, not a bad episode of FiM has been released (yet), Faust will eventually hop back on the bandwagon. That's why I want the series finale to be a movie . Also, I never watched the Simpsons, but I did see the movie, and it was funny, but I heard that the show starting getting lackluster before the movie. Was that true? Tom 891 June 19, 2012 #30 Share June 19, 2012 Even if the quality does go down, the community will still make great artwork, music, videos and more. So there's nothing to worry about. murkyx 904 June 19, 2012 #32 Share June 19, 2012 I severely doubt such a decline. We already know that the creators of the show are very close with the fanbase. It is because of this connection with the fans and their interests into what they want to see in the show that the creators have a source of criticism that they can use to improve on. Season 2, in many respects, improved on the features of Season 1 because of us. I also expect the same for Season 3, considering the promises that it will be amazing as our fandom does not cease to be overflowing with possibilities and ideas to inspire the creators, which in turn, creates episodes that inspire us more. I expect this cycle to continue for the show's entire existence, until either ideas run thin or during the time far in the future where G4 shall become outdated and end to bring forth the next generation, which I expect will not be for another few to several years.
