Little Miss Fluttershy 678 December 21, 2011 Share December 21, 2011 Basically what the title of this topic is about. I've seen some really good signatures people make on here and I'm kinda new at making them so I'm just reaching out for a tutorial or maybe a signature for dummies help on here lol. I saw that people were saying that they use photoshop and i tried making one online, some site called sig maker. I use to have a trial version of photoshop 3s or something on my laptop, but the trial version ran out, which kinda sucks. Anyway ya just asking. Oh and sorry if I'm repeating this topic on this forum because I've seen it a few times before. Signature made by Cloud Chaser. Ask her to make you one! Ezynell 2,037 December 21, 2011 Share December 21, 2011 (edited) I make a decent number of signatures here on the forums (I actually designed the current banner that the forums are using right now) and, in fact, am decently new at Photoshop. I started a few months ago with a trial on Photoshop CS5 (I think you can get a trial of Photoshop 5S even if you have already gotten Photoshop 3S trial). Even if you can't you can always get a really good discount if you are a student on it, or (I don't recommend it, but I did this for a few months before I actually bought it) torrent it from bb warez (where I got it). Photoshop tutorials are a dime a dozen, but I was taught by the very helpful and active member here Nicolai (or Fluttershy here on the forums). You could always PM him or me if you need to know where to advance from here. PM me or quote my post if you want any more information, sorry for the huge wall of text! Oh yea it was the trial version CS5 my mistake. But anyway thanks for the tip I will just download the trial version again. But I also wanted to ask about when I click on signature on my profile it pulls up a something like when you're writing a new topic or replying to posts. I kinda get confused at that part. FLARE 952 December 21, 2011 Share December 21, 2011 (edited) I don't know much about making sigs in photoshop, but as someone who uses Sony Vegas for his sigs I can say that there aren't any strict tutorials as for making a signature otherwise they would be all the same, there would however be some guide lines and rules that you would have to follow, they are very obvious though, make it the correct size and include the persons(your) name, it is also a good idea to not clutter it and to keep it simple. Hm... Interesting. Never would have I though you could make signatures with SonyVegas. I'll have to look into this. On-topic: Yeah, you should try making signatures with CS5 PS or SV. And there are some great pointers on how to make signatures in youtube for both .gif and good ol' nonmoving ones. And if I were you, I would go to a torrent and download it there. Of course, it's the full version, but it's kind of illegal, so it's your choise. shiet got srs guise
