He hears something being placed in front of him and looks up and, seeing the water, thirstily begins to drink out of the half-melon.

Hurl rolled up to his paws after he had enough of laughing, his stomach now hurt a lot from it. "Aren't you going to wear the patch?", ask him as he raised his head up to face Lighting. The injured pony's motions were caught from the corners of his eyes. Hopping up and down in excitement, the small griffon exclaimed,"Hey, he is drinking it! He's ok! He's ok!" Carefully making sure his talons were close to him, Hurl half-crouched and half-crawled over. his amber eyes remaining the same level as those of the injured pony. "Uh...uh... Thanks.", mumbled Hurl in embarrasment. "Do you want something to eat? I can catch a rabbit for you."

Lighting put on the patch and sighed. He looked over at Splinter "Thanks, means a lot to me" he said. He rolled his eyes and then winced in pain. i guess my eye is worse then i thought he thought.

He doesn't even look up as he responds to Hurl, "I'd... I don't eat rabbits..." He shifts around as he sits back down, looking down at the ground. "I never should've come here in the first place," he mumbles.

"I need to fly..." Rainbow Dash said to nopony in particular. "Just standing here is so boring..."

''Oh Wait.. Do you need a hat with that?'' Splinter said while giggling. ''I'm just kidding.'' Splinter said while smiling.

Lighting rolled his eyes and pointed a paw at him. "What a hoof to?!" he said sarcastically.

Rainbow Dash flapped her wings and hovered an inch above the ground. Standing was too boring.

Lighting shook his head "i meant hock!" he said. He laughed and smiled "Or hoof, then i make that clicky de clacky noise!"

''Honestly.. What is it with you and flying?!'' Splinter said while looking at Rainbow Dash.

"It's boring to go even 20 minutes without flying for me." Rainbow said, turning her head to Splinter slightly.

''These things? I still want to be a Puma.'' Splinter said while looking at his wings.

Hurl's amber eyes opened wide in shock. "You don't eat rabbits, but... but rabbits are good. " Dissapointedly he looked down at his talons, scraping the bark with the tip of his claws. How can he not like the taste of rabbits? Catching the injurred pony's mumblings, the griffon sat up straight and suddenly remembered how he was abandoned here, too. "Me, too! I don't even want to make friends with ponies. They are-they are- " His troubled gaze flickered across from his sharp talons and rested on the bandages. "You guys... you guys get hurt too easily.", mumbled Hurl before he leaped disappeared into the leaves with his lion tail dragging behind him.

Hearing what Hurl had to say to him he slumped back down, embarassed.

Suspiciously Hurl used his eage gaze to exam the plant before him. Even if ponies didn't eat rabbit, it didn't mean he couldn't find anything he eat. The whole tasting process took 3 seconds as he bit down, chewed and spat the leaves out. Disgusted, Hurl stuck his tongue out, "Ugh... Bitter... " His attention was turned onto the bright, red fruits on the tree. "Maybe they can eat apples. Apples can't hurt anybody, right? " After collecting a few apples by folding them under his wings, Hurl trotted back to the bandaged pony's side. "Hey, look what I got for you! Apples! You do eat apples, do you?" Then also he pulled out a few brightly, creepy-looking mushrooms. "If not, you can eat these mushrooms. They look pretty sweet."

Turning his attention to Hurl, he says, "Uhh... Apples are fine... I'm not sure if those mushrooms are... safe." He takes an apple and starts eating on it, glad to turn his attention away at least for the moment.

Hurl was just about to gobble the mushrooms down before he heard the pony's comment. With apple in one talon and mushrooms in another, he looked back and forth between them before he threw away the mushrooms and started munching the apple. Not realizing the patient's need for a rest, the griffon decided to talk, since he was bored. "Where are you from? What's your name? I am Hurl! So where do you think you should be if not here?" One after the other, questions tumbled out of his mouth.

"I... uhh..." he dashes off after being overloaded with questions from the talkative Hurl, then flew up into a nearby tree to try to get some rest while being away from everypony else.

"Woot! You can fly, too, now!", exclaimed Hurl happily, his amber gaze followed the pony up to the branch. Maybe ponies weren't as weak as he expected. Maybe they just need to eat. Wanting to follow, he spread his wings, jumped, and crashed straight into the trunk. Dizzily he took one look at his crooked left wing, the smile on his face dissapeared. After looking up with a sad face, Hurl slumped down to his stomach and curled up at the dip between the branch and the trunk. I can't flap my wings. How can I fly back home?

Hearing Hurl stomping about, he stuffed his hid in a bunch of branches and cringed as he felt his flank hurting from the clawing and the stretching he had just done when flying and running.

Rainbow Dash landed again on the cloud. She didn't like to be still, so instead she kept moving.

Fluttershy glanced up to the pony sitting in the tree. At the base lied a griffon. Strange, Futtershy thought. Maybe I should... see what's going on.

"Um... Hi?" Fluttershy said to the pony. Then she saw the griffon's wing had been broken. "Oh no, what happened to you?"

Hearing Fluttershy, he responded with, "Oh.. hi.. He injured his wing somehow and... as he flew off he started falling... I tried to, uh, help but I was too weak..."
