Well the title says it all. Lately, I have been completely drained of ideas for fan art. So I'll take five requests and do them!

All of my work is digital art, mainly pixel art and normal show style ponies.

 

First come first serve.

The Mane 6 in a low-rider (no top) on the street (street preferably cartoony, and the ponies and car, not.) front end up.

 

Here's the seat order:

(RR) (TS)

(AJ)

(RD) (FS)

(BACK)(FRONT)

 

I want Pinkie Pie sorta chilling on the trunk in the back, with a hoodie and a baseball cap turned backwards.

 

Rarity should be leaning out her side with a large gold chain and shades waving a hoof looking angry (like at traffic).

 

AJ should have wide eyes like she's surprised. She's not supposed to be there ^^.

 

RD should just be chilling, give her some bling and shades. Have her lean out her side with a hoof over the door.

 

FS should have Angel on her head. Either make her grit her teeth with eyes wide with terror (lol) or make her calm with a weapon, preferably a micro-smg or a rocket launcher. IF she has the rocket, she should look real angry, with Angel wearing an army helmet. If she doesn't have the rocket, then same pose as RD, but with the smaller weapon.

 

TS should be like RD, but with the wheel (American car, wheel is Front Left). Right hoof on the wheel, left hoof over her door.

 

Car preferably a scarlet red, whitewall tires, chrome fender and bumper. Headlights not on. I would like the view to be from the side, to the front is on the right and the back on the left.

 

Is that enough to keep you busy?

First Picture:

• Considering this was made in a paint tool, it gains many points for the clean style you used.
• Her mane (Mainly the back portion) seems to look rather odd going into the hair... thingie. Doesn't look very natural.
• Her expression is scary due to the fact there is nothing in her mouth. Just an endless black hole.
• Her right pupil seems empty and smaller compared to her left pupil.
• The eyebrow above her left eye brings out the emotion in this picture, which is a very good thing.

Since this is pixelated, I really cannot say anything with her squigly line body.

Second Picture:

• Her mane is very well made considering you used paint.
• Her right eye seems dangerously empty. Like her death stare we all know is very popular in our fandom.
• Her hoof looks rather odd.

Have to cut this short due to life. Enjoyed AJ pic much more.

Coming from the view of a pixel artist, I'd tell you a few things:

 

- Don't use pure black outlines. In addition, make sure they aren't jaggy (which yours are), by making sure everything is one pixel thick.

 

- Make sure you're using shading techniques. Pixels without shading, unless for a style choice (and even then that's rare and rarely works) are going to be rather boring. The applejack one technically has some, but it's not correct (shading should be giving something dimensions, not just to add more shades) so keep in mind her 3D physique; also, use more contrast between shades.

 

- And until you perfect pony anatomy, I suggest you use a reference or two.

Well, of course there's more than that wrong with it... but y'know, everyone's gotta start somewhere.

 

 

EDIT2: and might I put on top of this: if you started these and finished them within an hour, then I'd tell you to go back and play with them more, a lot more. A few hours on a single pixel art piece is far from being out of the question -- in fact, if you take less than 2 hours on something more than a 16x16 or 32x32 sprite, that's generally not nearly enough time spent.
