Oh, yet another one of those lazy RPG Maker games.

 

That is not true when there is currently only two MLP RPG games. One of pony RPG then the second one is MLP RPG.

Besides, it is made for the fans. Don't express your hate when you can play for free.

Everything seems... out of place. I don't think there are many giant slimes or humans in Equestria. Also the lines that I saw Twilight speak don't seem like things she would say. Otherwise looks very well put together, I might try it out (especially if you get to choose a main character in the game other than Twilight.)

How many hours do you expect it will take to complete your game?

Those things actually take a lot of work if you want to do something as vast as this. I've tried to work with that program and it is real hard if you're not dedicated to what you want to do.

First I will have to say MLP cartoon doesn’t give me much of ideas on monsters but there will be MLP related monsters as bosses which they aren’t shown on trailer.I don’t sound like Twilight because I am not Twilight at first place (duh), but I am trying hard to achieve that.

Humans are there because Twilight was teleported to Earth by dragon altar; it is part of the plot. I will be going on a vacation 7-14-2012 to Alaska, coming back in 8 days. Expect most of the game to be finished around then.

Ah, that explains everything. Also, I understand why you can't make it sound exactly like Twilight, dunno why I expected that.Can't wait to try it out!

beta version 0.3 is released. Added two fun minigames to BETA for testing. Fixed two text glitch. Added 6 new maps.

 

Equestria maps is added to the game. Screenshoot of the map is added to this thread or on my website.

 

V0.4 beta is ready! it now have achievements, a guidebook to menu. Two new AWESOME Equestia maps added. Twilight spell "Absorption" fixed. Possible NPC "Trixie" crash fix. Two more puzzle mini-games added for testing. 4 more teleport location added. Added over 10 music tracks!!! Thank Sim Gretina for most of them! , added 10+ types of new monsters, added changeling army, added epic two stage boss battle! Final section one of the gameplay is finished! Sadly, it won't be accessible in BETA. Special thank to Yurusumaji for reporting some of the bugs in game!

Lazy? Not really. I'm working on one myself, and I can tell you from experience that it is NOT a walk in the park. In order to do the level of show similarity that RPG has involves tons of art made, spritesheets that are a complete pain because EVERY pixel must be perfect or you get odd twitches when walking, and oh Celestia the annoyances of making a believable level map that doesn't look like someone either said "WHEEEEEEEE~! Stuff EVERYWHERE!" or "I really don't want to do this" and making a grassy plains look like a big piece of green cardboard (I made most of the maps I needed months ago, then looked back and realized they were HORRIBLE, and started over. I'm STILL not done with the remakes). Plus the amount of scripting (because there IS scripting needed if you want your game to look unique to all the other RPGMaker programs) to get stuff like locked doors is time-consuming. Even getting a simple instance like a boulder in a dungeon to be movable without it resetting every time you leave that floor can take hours to get right, especially if you make it part of a puzzle like I have in my own RPG.
