Vido 37 July 19, 2012 Share July 19, 2012 My Newest OC. The cutie mark is an electric guitar, but it became hard to see as I filled in the body.
Tenshinohana 264 July 19, 2012 Share July 19, 2012 Cool! You might want to try to color it in with a marker with a bigger tip, or a coloring pencil. With more even coloring, you would get the cutie mark visible! And maybe you should try putting the guitar so that the neck is towards the wings, and make it a little bit bigger. That could be awesome too! But I like the colors... And I really like his mane!

Thank you for the suggestions, I'll definitely pick up some colored pencils on my way home from work today :3 I will probably post a colored version tonight. InfinityWhale 771 July 19, 2012 Share July 19, 2012 Looks pretty good. I'd say the mane problem you have at this point is proportions. Make sure that the body, head, and torso are the right shapes and sizes. Maybe trim down the chest area a bit, trim the body a little, and make the head a bit more round. Very good though! Yeah, I have been sketching ponies everynight recently and one main problem I have is always getting shapes right. I need to get some good pencils so I can fix things that don't look right.
