Phaeston-e12 173 July 24, 2012 Share July 24, 2012 This... took an entire day mainly because I spent 90% of the time being distracted and shopping and trying to learn the basics of the illustrator (never used it and did all my vectoring practice using the photoshop). Sketch in fact didn't took a terribly long time since the pose was relatively easy to come up with, tuning the form so it fits the anatomy and the perspective however is an entirely different story. Enjoy, constructive criticism is always welcomed.

Phaeston-e12 173 July 24, 2012 Author Share July 24, 2012 (edited) I was getting worried that you weren't showing up more often with your drawings, as always, I love it I've been literally tanking 10~12 sketches over the last few days, I figured that since I wanted to learn illustrator to see if it would make my life easier; I would learn it along with the sketches I've done. Edit: And also, I'm going to post most of my unfinished sketches in my tumblr site that isn't a hand-drawn image with a full background or a vector image. I don't like to spam my unfinished art here when I'm trying to get a constructive criticism on my arts; it's disrespectful for all considered. Hazardus_Havard. 480 July 24, 2012 Share July 24, 2012 I use Illustrator myself. I don't own anything else right now so I use GIMP as my sketch pad and transfer over afterwards. The colors there meld into one another well, but it makes your figure fade out. Something to contrast it would be helpful here. Even changing the background to a more vivid blue would help here I believe. 1 Practice makes perfect; but if nobody's perfect, why practice? http://hazardus-havard.deviantart.com/ Art http://www.fimfiction.net/story/70801/an-alien-walks-amongst-us Story

I was imagining that she's floating up in a cloud napping from the rest while ground below is still yet to be formed into a land. But... that would take way too long @_@
Hazardus_Havard. 480 July 24, 2012 Share July 24, 2012 A simple blue gradient, shaped in a nice way would help it out. Adding in a sort of cloud white outlining, as in subtracting from it would make the appearance pop out more.
