i have noticed a problem with the character counter when posting, most of the time its not there! only once in a while do i see the little counter, so its often frustrating trying to post, and not knowing how many characters i need, so often my posts are left full of spaces, ... and random words leaving the end of my posts looking like:

 

so ...ummm, yeah... you know

 

seeing the character counter helps me to plan out my posts

 

which is why that little counter not being there is so frustrating! is there anything that can be done?

Are you accessing the forums via the full version, but on a less-powerful device such as a tablet or cell phone?

 

Doing that will make you use the less advanced post editor, which means you have to manually edit you formatting in text (for example, you have to type , instead of clicking the bold button in the editor). Anyways, one of the features that you cannot see are, in this case, the charcater count.

 

I really do wish the post editor could be supported for the full versions on iOS, but specific limitations of capabilities might be involved.

im on my computer, so yes im using the full version, its just frustrating when half the time the counter isnt there
