Lapis nodded, seeing the practicality of electing a leader. "That's a great idea. I am not sure who should be leader, but I'm not much of one. I certainly don't want to try." Misty fiddled around with stuff in the lobby, trying to get rid of her boredom. "Hey, anypony want me to be leader?" she called over. She put on a smug grin hoping it would convince them of her abilities as a leader. Lapis looked back at Misty and shook his head sadly. There was something clearly wrong with that mare.

Octavinyl then turned to Misty when she wanted to be a candidate, 'I somehow feel like she's gonna get us all killed if she's leader.' she thought as she turned back to Lapis. She then wheeled closer to Lapis and whispered in to his ear, "I'm not voting for her."

Drizzle overheard the ponies talking about some sort of leader "Leader for what?" he asked himself looking out the window and gazing upon the monsters outside "I wonder how this will turn out..." He said with his normal voice with a face mixed with Saddness,Fear,and Worry. "What will happen to me? What will happen to the other ponies?" he thought to himself "We need food,Weapons,and meds but were in a hospital so that covers the med problem" He said while taken a seat in the lobby.

Lapis nodded imperceptibly. "Well? What's it gonna be?" Misty asked impatiently. Lapis turned to Misty, face emotionless. "We'll consider it." he lied. Misty silently cheered to herself. Turning back to Octavinyl, he whispered, "What was that you were saying before the hospital staff took you to be examined? Something about me, right?" Lapis tried to maintain an air of neutrality. If she had been saying what he thought she had been saying, then things may have gotten a bit complicated. They were in the middle of a crisis, and affection and emotions like that could get in the way. What mattered now was survival.

"Well it's just that I...nevermind it's nothing important..." Octavinyl replied as she turned away from Lapis to avoid any complications for everypony. "We are lacking candidates so I will volunteer myself if nopony minds." She added as she started thinking of plans for the hospital.

Lapis saw that Octavinyl understood why now was a bad time. He nodded. "You could make a good leader. Unless somepony else wants to..." Before Lapis could finish, Misty interrupted. "I thought I could be leader?!" Lapis stared down the mare with a scowl. She grinned back. With her improved strength, she could give the earth pony a good fight. "Now, I know what your thinking. But fighting proves nothing." "Oh yeah? How do you think we'll survive this if we don't fight, huh? Look out the door! These things keep coming!" Outside, figures were lumbering in the fog, giving off hideous shadows. Lapis shook his head. "Well, how about instead of fighting me, you go out there and take care of those things, hm?" Misty rolled her eyes and went outside to fight the zombies. The problem wasn't solved, but making her go on guard duty would keep her from trying to hold leadership.

Octavinyl turned back to Lapis, "Thank you for the comment, but now I need a majority of votes from everypony in this hospital before I can be leader." she replied as she then turned to Silver Heart. "Silver Heart, is there a pen and notepad that I can use?" She requested, it was obvious she was already starting to organize everything.

Razor had the computer run another scan on Diehard. All systems cleared. Bacteria has been neutralized. Well thats nice to hear. Now can you let me out of this thing? I dont see why not? But now we still need to find the others. Where would i be in all this hell? Well I think we should start at the hospital. I know anypony that got bit might have gone there. True but nopony has answered the hospital radio. Iv been making calls all day and nobody responds. Well then i hate to say this. But we might have to go out there.

Splinter had killed most of the stupid ponies by now. ''Okay.. I think I should stop playing Assassin's Hospital and go check on the group.'' Splinter said while laughing. Blood was on his knife. He walked into Octavinyl's Hospital room. ''Hello!'' Splinter said.

Octavinyl saw the pony they had seen earlier come in the hospital lobby. The sight of the bloody knife made her feel uncomfortable so she wheeled right next to Lapis. "W-Who are you?" She asked with a soft tone.

Lapis's hackles prickled up. He didn't like the look of that pony. The fact that he had a bloody knife made Lapis worry. "Why do you have that knife? Have you been fighting the mutants, or....?" he asked, starting to feel nervous. There was an odd look in this pony's eyes. If Lapis's intuition was right, then he might have to fight. He just hoped that he was wrong.

Drizzle heard some ponies talking but he still went on thinking how is he going to get out of here or survive in here without any food "Thats it" he said while standing up and heading back to get a weapon and getting out of here and back to Canterlot.He made sure to move cautiously and try to make less sound as possible so no monster or pony can here him.He didnt want to alert the other ponies from the thought they might think he is one of... those things outside. He went over the plan many times in his head "Ok 1st sneak past and get a weapon 2nd Find a way out.maybe theres a exit somewhere" He said while sneaking.

Octavinyl just ignored Splinter and went back on what was important, they would still need to vote on the leader. She kept writing down plans before they could set up the whole hospital into an organized headquarters for survival. Afterwards she went back to her room by using the elevator, on the way she kept thinking about what she should've said to Lapis, 'Oh Lapis, if only I could just tell you how I feel...' she thought to herself as the elevator reached the floor of her room. She then went back inside the room and pulled herself into the hospital bed, with the help of her wings of course.

''Okay.. So now would be a bad time to tell you I just took out half of the nurses?'' Splinter said. ''I might have gone a little insane.. Sorry?'' Splinter said while rolling his eyes and whistling.

Octavinyl got back on the wheelchair and out of her room. She then went to the main office on the top floor to make a public safety announcement. She spoke into the microphone that would be heard in all rooms of the hospital, "I know that I haven't been elected yet, but we need to keep cautious for anything weird that may happen. If you see something weird happening then please notify me immediately. Oh and Splinter would you kindly come to the office please? We need to talk."

Lapis watched as Octavinyl left to make more plans. He sighed inwardly. If they survived this, maybe he'd explore his feelings for her. Lapis turned back to Splinter with hardly contained surprise. "You killed innocent nurses? Why...." An idea struck him. Misty was a problem, and this stallion seemed dangerous. Maybe he could take care of them both with each other. "You know what? There is somepony I'd like you to meet. She's just outside, killing zombies. Why don't you..." Before he could finish, Octavinyl's PSA drowned him out.

Drizzle's heart skipped a beat once the loud static came on from the intercoms.He made a sprint back to the lobby in panic making alot of noise.He was halfway there until he saw a empty patient room so he ran in and hid anywhere he could fine. panting loudly he tried to calm himself down "Its ok Drizzle nothing is out to get you the monsters are outside and im inside they cant get me until im outside. Im inside and there outside" he said many times but everytime it got louder and louder to a full on yell.

Silver Heart couldn't believe what she had heard...she was stunned to hear that somepony would just kill her friends and co-workers for no reason. Silver Heart quickly walked out of the room. She went straight for her room to mourn her friends.

 

(OOC: Gah not having much time to post doesn't allow for much character development does it? I wanted to expand on this more but if I wait til the time comes we may already be past this point so I will come back later and edit it.)

Octavinyl spoke into the speaker once more, just in case everypony got it clear, "If you see anything weird or strange happening then please notify me immediately. Your safety is my concern so please feel free to ask me anything. And Mr. Splinter, please come to the office, I need to talk to you for a moment." she repeated as she turned off the microphone. She was trying to remember what Splinter was about to say, but she had left the lobby before Splinter could finish his sentence, 'He killed half of the what?' she kept thinking.

Silver Heart heard Octavinyl voice boom through the speakers. Why would she want to meet with that monster? Doesn't she know what he did? Maybe this is some kind of trap for him? Either way he's too dangerous to allow him to be around anypony by themselves. Silver Heart ran straight to one of the storage rooms and slipped two scalpels along with some industrial strength cleaning bleach into her saddlebags and ran over to the Main office, hoping that that was where Octavinyl was and that she wouldn't be too late.

Octavinyl waited in the main office for Splinter to come by. She looked around at the wheelchair to pass the time. She eventually heard hoofsteps in the distance, it seemed like somepony was in a hurry. Octavinyl looked through the window of the door and saw that it was Silver Heart. She opened the door and asked, "Hey you look like you're in a hurry, is something wrong?"

Flame awoke in a cold sweat he sat up but when a sudden wave of pain coursed through his body he fell back onto his pillow, What happened ? He thought looking at the I.V that was running into his arm. He sat up slowly and gently touched the bandages on his arm the cut underneath was almost healed and the scratches down his side where merely thin scab's and small scars. How long was I out ?

Flame looked around the room and saw a small button next to his bed that said "Push for assistance." he pressed it a couple times and waited for somepony to enter the room.

Silver Heart took a moment to compose herself and catch her breath. "I wanted to make sure I got here before you met that monster by yourself." Silver Heart said with great venom. "Why do you want to talk to him?"
