Crystal Ponies

So I was at Target and the pony section was completely wiped. Now, I haven't been to Target in a long time, so the following information might just be me freaking out. I saw two different Target exclusive two packs, Fluttershy and Sweet Song and Pinkie Pie and some other pony. One pony in each package had those glimmer wings and all the ponies had tinsel in their hair. Now the sticker on the packed had Candence surrounded in glitter with the words, Crystal Kingdom. Do you think this has anything to do with the Season 3 teaser?

Don't relate the toys to the actual show. Ever. It showed Scootaloo flying on one of them o_o. But yes, there are Crystal Ponies in S3 and there's solid evidence of that.

But as Scootabloom said, don't mind the toys, as they are often incorrect and not exactly in accordance with the show's cannon.

Ugh, the toys. I don't know what everyone finds so appealing about them, anyway. *turns around and cuddles his Dash plushie*

 

Eh, yeah. The show is canon, the toys really aren't. The toys are made and produced and marketed to advertise the show, yes, but they really aren't given a ton of thought and continuity a lot of the time. I can't count how many Hasbro pony toy memes I've seen on My Little Brony, due to the fact they're always messing things up, not getting details right, and making weird things like this one.

 

Just gonna need to wait till the show actually demonstrates what they look like, I'm betting.

I guess if there's one thing that we can accurately infer from these toys' appearance, it's that Season 3 is close to beginning (although most bronies figured as much already). But, as the others have said, until we have solid evidence from the show suggesting otherwise, we cannot safely assume in any sense of the word that these new toys may accurately reflect the appearance of these so-called "Crystal Ponies." We'll just have to wait and see until Season 3 begins.

The toys are just something that Hasbro does... I don't like them and they shouldn't be thought of as canon. I really can't wait to see what they look like though.
