Church looks around. He is searching for some sort of object he could use to bat or cut the mushrooms out yet, like a piece of broken glass or something along those lines. He assumes if he can find something like that then he can use is to cut the mushrooms off.

 

There's nothing there; either you brave the radiation or you find a way to protect yourself from it.

Your mind goes back... way back, in fact, to a time before prison. With Artium's high radioactivity a certain medicine was released to protect from it's harmful symptoms.

What was it...? Shoot, you can't remember...

What do you do?

 

"I'll look to see if there's a computer console anywhere, would somepony mind watching my back? I don't think we should climb into anything without knowing how it broke in the first place. I don't want somepony knocking something and getting trapped in there. Look around for any damage or anything that might be a way to access the Artium from the outside. It'd be quite a design flaw to need climb through its innards every time it need refueling. "

 

 

Perhaps there would be a manual or something somewhere.

 

You look around; all you find is a broken terminal and a few pieces of broken equipment, good to know what broke.

You do, however, find a radiation suit. Pretty handy in emergencies like this.

"Hey, that's made to protect from Artium." Ironsides explains. "Extracting it would be no problem, supposing we could get to it."

Yeah, that's the problem right now.

"Alright, I guess I'll get in the suit. Look around for some kind of portable storage container. I don't want to get radiation sickness or anything from when we take it back." Rich wondered how much they might get for the radiation suit from Red. Rich walked to the largest entrance he could find and looked inside. "Can I borrow a flashlight or something?"

"If you get into trouble, yell so we can know to run." Snorts Crimson.

Some gears lead up, but there's a couple of paths winding down.

You examine the tubes, looks like they were used to transfer all goods. They're locked with a password, but if you had something strong you could break them open. Or if you had a hacking tool...

Either way, you're positive the package would be in one of these.

Jacob clicked on the activate weapons bay option and the he clicked on the open weapons bay door. Jacob wanted to find an exit but his curiousity about the weapons bay got the better of him. He was wondering if their were any weapons left, or what would happen.

 

The lights came onto full power, and a small voice speaks to you.

"Hello, it has been &$#* days since the previous activation. Would you like to run an inventory check?"

Is this the AI, or some kind of AI installed for the bay itself?

An inventory might not hurt, though...

What do you do?

"Don't worry. If I get attacked I'll try and throw the flashlight back to you."

 

Rich didn't like the idea of climbing the gears. I'd be a design flaw to have to carry the Artium up there every time it need refueling anyway. He decided to try the lower paths first. "I don't suppose the others have had any luck finding a transport container?" Rich called back to Crimson.

You lower yourself down and eventually reach the bottom. This thing is massive.

Jacob was intrigued by the AI. "Yes run a full Inventory check, also give me a diagnostict of all the weapons conditions." As Jacob was awaiting a response from the AI, the doors to the weapons bay began to open. It made a loud screeching noise. Jacob could tell that the doors havent been opened in a long time.

1x Military Grade Artium Rifle. Condition: Excellent. Warning: Ammo is missing. Uncharged. Inoperable.

1x Night-Vision goggles. Condition: Working. Charge Complete.

1x Experimental Sonic-Rainbloom blaster. Condition: Operational.

All other inventory has been removed."

Hm...

You step into the weapons bay, shelves upon empty shelves is all that's left. What a shame.

You lower yourself down and eventually reach the bottom. This thing is massive.

'These tunnels must extend under the walls of the generator room. They're probably here to do maintenance on the power cables that go to the rest of the prison.' Rich thought.

 

He decided to explore a little way to see if he was right, then return to the main generator. He decided to stick to the the left paths. He tried to memorize what the way he came down looked like.

You stick to the left paths, the paths wind and turn. You get lost a few times, but you backtrack and find your way again; eventually stumbling upon a large opening of the generator. There are a number of massive wires leading to a dimly lit platform.

You feel like you're being watched, but on the platform you see the Artium, a decent chunk of it too.

What do you do?

Church immediately begins to search around the room again for some kind of object to get the grate off with. Then he remember the baseball bat her had with him in the Tunnels. He face hoofs and remembers it's in his cell. He then gets back to searching for either a big object to smash the grate with or some kind of hacking tool that may be lying around.

You see a large, old pipe, (Melee check, failed) but you don't have the strength to lift it. What a shame, that could have broken it.

You continue to look around, but find nothing. You'll either have to head back or find something in the adjoining rooms.

Rich looked around for a way up other than climbing the wires. Maybe he could find something long and knock it off the platform. 'Strange how it's out in the open rather than in the generator.' Rich thought to himself. He readied his rifle in case it was a trap. "Anyone in here?" Rich asked.

*You're still in the generator, just in a deep part of it.*

You don't see much that you could lift. There's a long metal pole, (Melee check, failed) but you don't have the strength to lift it.

You call echoes through the large chamber, but you don't here any other noises; besides some creaks and moans.

Looks like you'll have to climb up the wires, but the shadows are starting to creep you out.

What do you do?

Church has come to far to go back empty handed. Red is waiting for him to come back with results and Church all ready has one failure on the shelf... And there is the Warden to think about. Doesn't seem like a good idea to get on his bad side. Church heads out of the room desperately searching for anything that may aid him.

Thankfully, you find a chunk of wood that could be enough to break the glass.

With a might swing, you crack the plank across the chamber, but the cracks have formed in spiderwebs along the glass.

Maybe you could break it down with your hoof.

Jacob couldnt carry everything that he had along with all the new things in the armory,it would slow him down to much and he would also attract alot of attention. So he decided to take everything from the armory and hide it in a nearby vent. So he could come back for it later. He did decide to take the night-vision goggles with him. With everything from the armory hidden. Jacob decided to head back to the yard. He made sure to try and remember the way to get back to the armory. He was ready to do some trading.

Before you can leave, something catches your eye. It's a large, liquid filled tube.

What is this thing? Peering inside, you can see a pony in there; but not more than that.

A clip-pad sits on a desk, it reads:

"This... 'pony' that we're growing in this thing is starting to scare me. I don't like some of the tests, but orders or orders. So long as I know the password, I can abort the system and flush that thing out. Best of all, I made it up; 3191, and it's not like anybody reads these stupid things."

Ha, irony.

You notice the number pad is still active. You're curious, but this thing could be very dangerous as well.

What do you do?

(Don't worry, you'll get to the Yard again soon enough.)

Rich decided to try climbing the wires. If he got close enough, he could use his unicorn magic to pull it over the edge without causing too much harm to himself. Rich put the Artium rifle far out of the reach of the falling artium and tried propping the flashlight on it so he could see what he was doing. He looked for anything he could use as a platform to boost him self up before the climb and left his rifle leaning close to the wires.

Clearly they were experimenting on prisonners." Jacob entered the code into the number pad. He keep his hunting rifle, at the ready just in case.

You don't see much, and your flashlight illuminates little. Shame.

You manage to get the Artium out, and attempt to arm the rifle.

You're feeling a little proud of yourself, but then you hear the screams. High-shrill scream.

Skags.

You see them drop down from the ceiling and charge after you. Run or fight.

What do you do?

Clearly they were experimenting on prisonners." Jacob entered the code into the number pad. He keep his hunting rifle, at the ready just in case.

 

The fluids drain out, and you see a pony suspended by cables. She/He is amazing looking, with a glowing silver mane and a stark white coat.

The cable let out a hiss and the pony falls to the bottom of the pod.

Is it dead? Is it unconscious? Whatever it is, it looks peaceful.

What do you do?

Rich ran into the closest tunnel, gripping onto the Artium rifle with his magic, ignoring the pain from his broken horn. He knew he couldn't out run them, so turned, dropped the gun into his hooves and pulled the trigger of his (hopefully) now operational weapon, praying that it would work.

The blast is scattered from the hasty repair, but it finds its target. Instantly two Skags are vaporized and a number are singed. They back off slowly, but not for long.

You'll need a plan to get out, you still remember the way back thankfully.
