Feather Spiral 1,892 September 10, 2012 Share September 10, 2012 Those who follow me on DA must've seen these under "Vacation Scraps x/6" (x being the page number). But I still wanted to share these, and also need some feedback on the back view. Big drawing on top: Viscra scared by a spider who just wants a hug. I don't really like the "spiky hair" attempt to show his fear, but I had a lot of fun thinking up the catlike pose (hunched back, ears down, tail between legs) since he loves cats and even has one. The "Battlefield" one is irrelevant, but I wanna show you the horn glow effects at the bottom right. The normal one from the show, Viscra's version (larger around the base, nearly absent at the tip), Echo Logic's version (more electric-like fuzzy borders, since she works with machines to process forensic evidence), and one I can't decide where to use (normal at the base, very large with wobbles around the tip). Title says "FS (ELIT version) WITH HANDGUN", even though the mane isn't styled right because I didn't have a reference while in Turkey. I didn't draw the wings, because I imagine it'd be more dramatic if they were spread but that wasn't my purpose. The point of this was to practice a standing pony from behind, and that's where I'm asking for you guys' feedback. I take writing commissions. XUNUSEDXXX 3,459 September 11, 2012 Share September 11, 2012 Random Scraps? These are sick! I espeically like the pose of the second one and how you like described each part of his equipment. GJ!
Feather Spiral 1,892 September 15, 2012 Author Share September 15, 2012 Sorry I missed this, haha. Thanks for the compliment. You really find nothing to criticize, even about the hind legs? I know I already made a drawing that satisfied me, but I'm one of those self-proclaimed "artists" who change styles every other picture. I take writing commissions.
