First pony drawing - Shooting Star (OC)

So! Here's my first pony drawing! I've posted a sketch here already, but it should be burried and never mentioned again. This is my first legit pony drawing, using all my effort~ It is, again, my OC Shooting Star. You can check him out in my signature below.

 

I've took a picture of it with my cellphone, so I apologize for the bad quality. I still have to scan it when I get the chance, then I'll paint it and then I'll post it again.

 

 

 

Now, one thing I didn't liked is how the two drawings look different. It was pretty hard for me to make the second one, because I didn't knew how to draw the pony facing the screen. But I'm satisfied with the results nonetheless!

I think you should have done the body a bit shorter. (When I mean "a bit" I want to say TREMENDOUS ENOURMOUS AMMOUNT OF SIZE)

Besides that, I think just redoing it until it is perfect.

To see if it is perfect, compare the drawing with a pony from the show.

well the snouts is off shape and the body is a bit to long other then that good job.

i think the best thing you can do is look for some pony poses around on google images and then use it to get the shape right then add you ponies feature and details, its what i have started to do and i think i'm improving.

Aw, c'mon, you shouldn't think like that~ As long as the critics are constructive and friendly, and it's not something like "ur drawing sucks and you should die", I want the community to be honest and tell me how should I enhance my skills~

Thanks~ Yeah, I noticed I made his body a little long... I have a few troubles with measuring these things. And yes, I'll re-do it until it's perfect! Thanks again!

grr, computers being annoying and won't load images. I'll have to take a look later on a less annoying computer. I'm so sick of this computer's crap.
