"Many many time but they never learn not to prank me so I have to beat them senceless. I know it sounds harsh but trust me we wouldn't be friends if they weren't them or me being me you know"Draco said as he looked at the mare infront of him"Of course it helps that we are childhood friends"Draco said with abit of nostalgia in his voice.

Yavolin continued to walk towards his house , which he could see from a distance. It was a simple cottage made from lumber. It had only what Yavolin needed, one kitchen, one bathroom which was located outside his room and his master bedroom which was big enough for two guest. Yavolin looked at starlite he went over to her and gave her a small kiss.

"ooH~ i see, well being good friends is okay i guess." she smiled and then looked up at him. "So what do we now?" She had finished her tea and muffin.

 

 

 

Starlight blushed in surprise at the kiss. She smiled and giggled softly. She felt like she had butterflies inside her. She had never experienced this kind of emotion before, so she really didn't know how to react. She shyly edged closer to him and then rubbed her cheek against his in an affectionate reply and then blushed again.

"Well what ever yuou want HeartStitch today is your day to lead me around since I've been leading you around all day so yeah"Draco said as he looked at the mare infront of him. Of course she was beautifull and her additude was good to deal with Draco at his worst.

Yavolin spoke in soft voice to starlite."My home isn't all that special , so don't be surprised if isn't clean". Yavolin looked at her with love in his eyes. Yavolin stood there for awhile enjoying the moment that he and starlite where having he looked up to see a perfect full moon.

Heartstitch stood up and replied," If you says so Mr. Draco~ but dont blame me if i get us lost~ not only is it night, i have never been here before." She chucled. "maybe we can go sight seeing in the morning?"

 

 

Starlite smiled and joked in reply, "well~ my home is in ruins. it is never clean." She giggled and then looked up with him. "Luna must be in a very good mood in order to make the moon look so beautiful as it does tonight."

Yavolin smiled and went to his house. He unlocked his cottage door and went inside he looked at starlite."Will here we are home sweet home". Yavolin noticed that his table was still over flowing with junk mail , he went over to his cold storage which had some drinks.

Starlite trotted inside and looked around. "what a cozy cottage you have~" She then saw the table and tilted her head in question. " why do you get so much mail, yavolin?" She stepped over to him to check out the drinks and used her magic to lift up a few to check out their flavors.

Draco chuckled slightly"The heart is sucgh a fickle thing you know it can be easily roken but not so easily mended you know"Draco said as he looked at his companion""as I asked your mark what does it mean to you"Draco asked her then said"mine represents my passtion to deliver and see ponies happiness but there is a darkside to it too I have to deliver break up letters on Heart and Hooves day just because the marefriends found somepony who can make her rich"

She looked at her rump and smiled. "My mark portrays my passion for wanting to heal those who's hearts have been hurt. the only downside is that my magic only works on ponies that wish to be happy again, but cannot rise up from the hole in their hearts. My mother is an example. She knew she had to be strong to raise me, but her sadness every day from my daddy leaving her made her unable to do her job, even though she really wanted to. Her sadness is what got me my cutie mark. i couldnt take seeing her drowning in her mostly silent tears every single day. I closed my eyes and thought real hard about my mom being happy, and then boom! there was a spark of mink light and i fell backwards. My mother looked genuinely happy for once, like all the despair and sadness inside of her just vanished. And that was when i noticed my cutie mark~" She smiled up at draco "i had to test it out a few times tho before i figured out how it worked."

"I see"Draco said with a gentle smile"your mother lost someone too huh Heartstitch and she got over her pain and raised you I had to raise myself you know all alone. my parents and siblings died when i was quite young around 10 so i had to resort to being a courier pony/turns out that was what i was good at and enjoyed"Draco explained

Yavolin didn't answer starlite."Anyway beds are down the hall to your right if you need anything starlite just yell ok"? Yavolin headed to his room and got into bed he was thinking about Starlite , but it worried him that she mie not understand how he was living.

She looked up at draco. "I . . im sorry about your loss, Draco." She hesitated, wanting to give him a hug but was not sure if he would accept it. "I am glad that you found your talent though." She smiled softly, and then yawned.

 

 

Starlite walked down the hall and into he room Yavolin had pointed out. she stepped over to one of the beds and looked at it curiously. She took one of her front hooves and pressed down on the mattress. It had been a long time for her since she had slept on a proper bed. eventually, she climbed up into the bed. Once she got settled in, she passed out almost instantly.

Yavolin was sleeping upside down on his bed. Had a smile on his face as he slept . He woke up to get something to drink, then he checked up on starlite. He went to her room to see if she was alright , she seemed fast asleep which she needed for tomorrow because they have to get her brothers stuff.

"Your tired here let me hold you till we can find you a inn to sleep in for the night"Draco said with a soft smile as he offered to carry her on his back if she wanted to fall asleep on it. Draco was always taught to be a gentleman to a mare never matter the age or sanity.

Heartstich yawned and thanked him as she took the offer. She was okay with it since she knew she was lightweight and easy to carry. If she had been heavier, she wouldnt have wanted to burden him with the weight of carrying her. She climbed onto his back, blushing softly as she did so. She got comfortable and rested her head against him and noticed that his coat was soft.

Yavolin looked at starlite then he got into bed figuring that she needed the company after all they were going to spend the rest of there lives together at less he hoped so. He figured that starlite was new to a relationship. He loved starlite and he was sure that she loved him.

Draco smiled at Heartstitch gentlely as he walked to an inn slowly as he looked to the sky."hmm the day seems nice today"raco said it more to himself as he mused how he met a nice young mare. Sure he made plenty of mistakes some of which he isn't proud of.

Starlite mumbled in her sleep and then rolled over. she woke momentarily to find that yavolin had laied down next to her (i am assuming). She smiled softly and rested her head close to his own before she tiredly dozed back off into a deep sleep. She enjoyed the company and also wanted to learn more about the stalion by her side. she would continue to sleep until morning.

 

 

Heartstitch was on the verge of drifting off to sleep while she was on Draco's back. She leaned in toward his face and said, "thank you, Draco, for your kindness today~ i really apreciate it~" She smiled with her words as she spoke.

Yavolin continue to sleep but he had a dream involving him and Celestia. it quickly turned into a nightmare. Yavolin Woke up with a jolt he panted for awhile his heart started to beat very raptly he sat up thinking about his dream then he lade back down.

"I do what I can for a beautiful mare such as yourself"Draco said honestly and he finally found an inn."here we go the inn now then"Draco said as he paid for a room with a single bed.he walked towards the room slowly trying to keep his whooves from clopping.

Starlight stirred slightly but continued to sleep. She was dreaming about her brother who she had not been apart from for so long. Her subconscious knew that there had been a change, and now it was worrying that her brother might not accept the change, or feel lonely without her.

 

Heartsitch smiled softly and blushed at the compliment. She watched tiredly as Draco helped her find a room for her.

Draco arrived at the room slowly and opened the door slowly. He put Heartstitch into the bed "Feel better?" Draco asked as he looked at his companion. he smiled at her gentlely. "Do you want me to stay with you till morning?" Draco asked with a tilt of his head.

Yavolin got up to fix some breakfast he didn't have much but he had only what he needed. He began to fix some pancakes and some hay fries with only a slice of orange. but he remembered that he needed to sort out his mail."Blasted, i need to tidy this place up".

Heartsitch smiled. "yes~ thank you for being so kind, Draco. I will have to think of a way to repay you somehow. And you can stay~ i do not mind the company. And now that i think about it, being in a new place in an inn all by myself is kind of scarry."

 

 

Starlite continued to sleep as yavolin got up. She only began to wake at the smell of food being made.
