Taco Horse 116 October 9, 2012 Share October 9, 2012 I have been wanting to take a stab at doing this for sometime and finally went for it. Right now I am working on a Colgate and Octavia. Feedback would be welcomed and I will post more when I get done with these. 2 http://www.youtube.c...eBrony/featuredA Machine For Pigs - #6 l Abduction - #6 l Outlast - #8 l Clive Barker's Jericho - #11 https://soundcloud.com/nick_rodriguez
RazzyJam 1,519 October 9, 2012 Share October 9, 2012 These are really Good! I think the Octavia one came out a bit better than the Colgate one, but they both look really great! Nice job Riley was here
aperture_tech 56 October 9, 2012 Share October 9, 2012 Wow, I these are very good! The Colgate one looks a bit more rough with the paint, but still much better than anything I could do! Nice work! Now I really want to do this, but I don't have any blind bag figures. Why do you have to torment me so?! I really want to get my my own blind bag figures, but I can't due to intolerant parents and not many places to go.
Taco Horse 116 October 9, 2012 Author Share October 9, 2012 yeah Colgate was my test piece but I can fix her up with the epoxy that I use, thanks for the feedback. I will probaly try doing something like this with the bigger ones once I get the hang of making the manes right. http://www.youtube.c...eBrony/featuredA Machine For Pigs - #6 l Abduction - #6 l Outlast - #8 l Clive Barker's Jericho - #11 https://soundcloud.com/nick_rodriguez
One 498 October 9, 2012 Share October 9, 2012 That's pretty cool. What exactly did you make those out of? (or am I just being stupid?) I would like seeing the final products and what you make with the feedback. (or something like that) This is a signature.
Taco Horse 116 October 9, 2012 Author Share October 9, 2012 I used the actual figures form blind bags, cut off the manes with a router tool and sculpted the manes with an epoxy called Green Stuff. http://www.youtube.c...eBrony/featuredA Machine For Pigs - #6 l Abduction - #6 l Outlast - #8 l Clive Barker's Jericho - #11 https://soundcloud.com/nick_rodriguez

I'm guessing that was directed to me, if so maybe quote? Usually helpful...Also cool, seems like a bit of work just for that. Why 5 characters off? This is a signature. Taco Horse 116 November 25, 2012 Author Share November 25, 2012 Not really a blind bag but this is a Pinkie Pie w/close to show accurate mane that I am working on for a Christmas present. I actually have a few that I am wanting to work on, but right now it's Pinkie Pie for one of my friends, a Sweetie Belle for my other friend, since I didn't have the stuff in time for his birthda, and Rainbow Dash and Vinyl Scratch for myself I'll post pictures of the other ones later. http://www.youtube.c...eBrony/featuredA Machine For Pigs - #6 l Abduction - #6 l Outlast - #8 l Clive Barker's Jericho - #11 https://soundcloud.com/nick_rodriguez
