Why, hello!

Well, I'm from Australia, where the brony presence is no-where near as strong as it is in America and Canada. I'd like to tell my friends I'm a brony, but they're not the most... accepting people around. I told my dad about bronies, and he said that it sounds silly. So I haven't announced my brony status to anypony IRL. *sigh*. I wish I had a brony friend. I spend most of my time playing Minecraft and reading fim-fics.

 

EDIT: And making music. Can't forget that one.

We're a VERY friendly community and always way more than happy to welcome someone new in. I know you're gonna enjoy your stay =D Have you even WATCHED all the episodes yet? You're so new... o.o

What do you like to do in your off time? Gaming, writing, art, music, RP? Do you like beards?

If you've got any questions, feel free to ask myself or anyone else on the forums, we are all very friendly. When you want to respond to someone in a thread, make sure you quote their post, that way you can make sure they know you did respond.

A quick tour of the forums for ya, We have 5 sections. First is the MLP Forums section. Anything that has to deal with the forums directly is here. Visit Canterlot Castle every now and then for some important site updates. We also have the Extranet where you can link up with many other gamers to play Minecraft and the like. Although if I remember right they only take ya on if you have a few extra posts under your belt. Something to look forward to!

The next section is just for the show and anything Pony. Sugarcube corner will cover anything outside of the show for ya, very fun place to hang out. Plus we have the show discussion where you can discuss specific episodes.

Our third section, Octavia's Hall is purely for any kind of art, whether it be drawn, written, song or played, any and all art. You can also request a free avatar/signature from generous artists here. Just browse through to find some one offering that.

We also have Roleplay World, a section purely dedicated to roleplaying and RP stories.

Finally we have Beyond Equestria, which consists of the Everfree Forest, a place for any kind of serious discussion or just anything not pony related. And finally the Cloudsdale Colosseum, which is purely for fun and games.

I can guarantee you'll fit right into our humble site here with extreme ease. Seeing as how you're new to the show, it wouldn't be a bad idea to check out the MLP: FiM subforum to see what all the fuss is about. If you're looking for some non-pony discussion with the other pony folk, I'd show you to the Everfree Forest subforum, where all non-pony related talk resides.

 

Don't worry too much about not having another pony fan friend nearby, I'm sure you'll find one if you keep an eye on when and where meet-ups are in your area.
