I am just an average person, nothing special. I write poetry and short stories. I have a darkish sense of humor, and I'm a pessimist. But, I have a question. How old do you think the Mane 6 ponys are? I was thinking about it, and, using logic, I have some ideas. I would like to hear your opinions, though.

My ideas:

Pinkie Pie is at least of age, as her parents live on a rock farm and she lives in Ponyville, and she rents the upstairs loft from Mr and Ms cake, implying that she is old enough to rent a house and could live alone if she chose to.

Twilight Sparkle is not necessarily of age, but it seems she is in the equivalent of a college. So she is probably of age.

Rainbow Dash: Undefined

Rarity: Of age, it is suggested that she lives alone, other than her sister. Therefore, she has to be of age as she takes care of her sister. It is clear she lives alone because her parents VISITED her.

Applejack: Of age or a year before being of age; she lives on the farm and could be under age.

Fluttershy: Lives alone, of age.

Fluttershy: She once said she was a year older than pinkie

Luna: Was on the moon for 1000 years now this may be because,

A: They are princesses

B: Because they are allocorns

Hi! Welcome to the forums! Rainbow Dash is probably of age because she grew up with Fluttershy, who we know is of age because she lives alone. I think all of the Mane 6 are somewhere between 19-25 years of age.

I know for a fact that we've got a thread down in the Sugarcube Corner section about the ages of the ponies. Just try out that search feature at the top of your screen.

 

At any rate, hello there, and welcome to the forums. I can see that you have a good taste in ponies (Fluttershy is best pony, by far), so you're already good in my book.

 

Here, we're all very friendly. I'm sure you'll make even more friends than just the one that introduced you to the site. As I said, everyone here is quite friendly and nice, so if you have any questions about anything, you can shoot up a message to pretty much anyone, and they'll be more than happy to help you out (though, I don't think the forum could be taken as all that confusing).

@MelancholicMemory, I have most things on my Google Docs, but I think I have a piece of poetry on Wattpad. Look for TheGodEmperor or for the story Criticism, that's the only one I have publicly available.
