Need help starting mlp art

I have no idea what to do with that many layers, I'll just start with 2 or 3 for purposes I can imagine then maybe icrease it when I can think of other uses later on.

 

I gave a pretty messy tutorial but there should be an option for grouping it can make things much neater. For example, this picture has a lot of different sections so I renamed some of the layers and arranged them in groups.

I find it pretty tough to get used to though

We don't use the same art program so I wouldn't know how to do that, maybe I'll post back here in a few days after I experimented with the layering and stuff.

I know how to use the layering now but filling bald pony mannequins seems to cause artifacts around the edges and I'm still working to resolve that.
