Shipping? Twilight and Vinyl

A quick search on fimfiction revealed that, yes, Twilight x Vinyl is a rare ship. Best candidates I could find was this and this, neither of which are completed and both of them hasn't been updated in a month.

Maybe someone should try it out for the Fanfic Contest?

I have never heard of a Vinyl and Twilight Shipping before. But if I know anything about bronies is that they will make a shipping about this sooner or later. I mean there is a shipping for everything in MLP, this could be other one coming up any day now.

"Tomarrow, my birthday was the day I've been dreading for 364 days now. It's the worst possible thing to happen and why now. Why why why why. Twilight muttered as she paced around her library looking for any excuse to have her head stuck in a book for the next day or two. "Twilight!" Spike yelled from under his blankets. "Quit your pacing around! Your hoof steps are too loud!

"Calm down!? I can't calm down my birthday is tomarrow and I can't bear another one of Pinkies parties keeping me up all night when I have all this work to do!! I have a new shipment of books coming in and I need to read them all an categorize them otherwise Princess Celestia will banish me to the Moon!"

"Twilight! How many times have I told you not to worry about it he Princess will understand, she won't banish you for not having the library in perfect shape by her visit in two days!"

Twilight stomped her hoof. And proceeded to dig faster through the pile of books she had accumulated over the nights panicking. She became to franticly shelve and organize books. Forgetting she could of used magic to shelve them all at once. "Now can I get some sleep so I'm rested to eat your cake tomorrow. Go to bed Twilight!" Spike yelled as he pulls his sheets over his head. "

"Oh Spike. I'm sorry , I should worry so much Princess Celestia wouldn't like it if I went all crazy again" She thinks back to the royal wedding incident and shudders.

"Never again" she mutters as she slips into bed. "Everything will work itself out just like spike said. Then she drifted off to sleep

 

In her dreams she recalls that snowy December day walking through the meadow a day she will never forget. Spike wanted to play in the snow and everypony knew that Fluttershys place had the best snow. As they played in the meadow. RainbowDash swooped in from out of nowhere and crashed right into Spike's snowpony he had just made .

"She really was a beautiful mare that Rainbowdash. So strong and with a mane that made everypony in all of Equestria jealous". Twilight thought. And she was friends with her!

"Hey Twilight!" Rainbow called from a cloud just over her head." You wanna see my new trick I just learned?"

"Alright Rainbow! Just try to avoid any trees this time you don't wanna end up back in Ponyville General again do you?"

"Yeah Yeah Twilight I know get off my case." As Twilight watches in Awe of Rainbowdash's display of flips turns dives and spins. A strange thought crosses the mares mind. A strange feeling crept over her, she liked Rainbowdash a lot, everypony did. But today was different she wanted to stay like this forever, entranced by the colorful curves of the Pegasus, her strong and well shaped hindquarters and seeing the snow fall around here made it a spectacle for the eyes. Twilight was in love. She had to tell her, the more she thought about it the more she remembered of the times they had together. The time she fell asleep infront of the fireplace when they were snowed in during one of rainbows visits to the library to check out the latest issue of daring doo. She remember the soft touch of rainbows mane as they lay together in the firelight. The time twilight screwed up her teleportation spell and ended up in cloudsdale. And Rainbowdash caught her when she plummeted back to earth. When she felt the muscles on the legs of the blue mares.

But how to tell her twilight thought to herself. She remembered a book she read on dating a few nights back, it said that Stallions prefer to be told directly about a mares feelings before. It can't be any different between two mares right? Twilight was convinced, when rainbow flew back down to her she would confess her true feelings.

Rainbowdash came crashing down from the sky and landed right on top of Twilight. Typical Rainbowdash style to take 10 minutes for a trick only to crash on the last move.

"All you alright Twilight?"

"Yeah I'm alright." Twilight groaned as she pulled herself out of her predicament.

"Ok then I'm going back home to get some rest that trick wore me right out. I had a good time today twilight. I hope you enjoyed my little show. Haha." Dashie turned and began to take off.

"Wait!!" Yelled twilight, she was committed now. After all this time she was finally going to tell her friend how she really felt about her. "Rainbow, I-I-I need to tell you something."

"Yes Twilight?" Rainbowdash said with a puzzled look on her face. She had never seen twilight like this before

"Rainbowdash I really like you!"

"I know Twilight I like you too we'll always be friends."

"No! I want to be more! I want to spend all my time with you, I want to curl up in bed with my books and you next to me now and forever!"

Rainbow was stunned. And for a moment there was only silence. Until Rainbow said those words that broke twilights heart.

"Sorry Twilight I don't feel that way about you were good friends and all but I'm not into Mares. You'll find that special Marefriend somewheree out there." And with a gust of wind Rainbowdash was gone and twilight was left in a pile of snow alone with tears streaming down her face. It was her first time every confessing to another pony. And it tore her apart. She didn't leave her room or see any pony for weeks. She was devestated.

 

"Twilight wake up! Twilight wake up its your big day." She heard spike yelling from down stairs.

It might be best if you did. Lol I need exposure and an editor so I your interested I could link you the google doc. Thanks for keeping the thread alive! I apreciatte it much. I will create a new thread when I feel chapter 1 is good and done. Till then stay tuned!

Just a note im a guy btw haha thanks for your interest in my fic. Maybe I can genderbend as an author could be interesting. Being a guy sucks.

Sure, link it to me. I'm going to give you a heads up, you might want to get an editor for your story. He'll help you polish it so it is much easier to read. I would, but i have too many other projects going on right now.
