Some sort of Matrix/Max Payne Pony

Here is a quick drawing I did yesterday. I was not completely sure about the background/Shadowing, so I posted both the original one and the modified one. What do you think?

erm yeah i would rely call that a Ponified Max Payne or even a Matrix one. it just look like a pony jumping back firing away.

 

and it looks good, but like the problem i have with these kind of things, the Guns :S i can't make them work because ponies have no thumbs.

Nice. I'm not much knowledgeable about art but I think the second output is a little dense in shadow. Kinda cool how your pony is going for a bullet-time thing.

Clearly ponified guns would fire... magic bullets! I'll show myself out...

 

They are neat pics, I like the look of the second one more honestly, but I can't make guns work within the MLP universe because we've never seen any. The vibe I get is spears, swords, and maybe bows (mostly because of the way the royal guards are dressed and the fact they already use spears). Really though unicorns would be on ranged duty because they could shoot magic. You'd find me hanging with Luna though who could use the pumpkin catapult. Huzzah!
