Twilight Circuits 603 October 30, 2012 Share October 30, 2012 sounds like you did what you had to do to watch out for youself. sorry your friend couldn't realize he was a problem for you and sort through it. I'm sorry as well. Truth be told I let him go a couple times before that but more on the side of "i've been too busy to call and/or hang out" kind of way. Unfortunately that cuases an imbalance in ones reasoning as well as one's ability to get the strength to say it face to face. As such, curiousity of how that person was doing lead me to contact them which brought me down once again. The real question people never seem to ask just as I had at the time is: What is it going to take until you have had enough? For me, it was when i wished to thrive and become a better person and no pony was about to stand in my way. Thus, i learned that true courage is being able to understand when a relationship has served it's purpose and that it no longer serves as growth for two people, and must be departed. Unfortunaley, most times, only one pony would have the wisdom gained from this understanding. 1 For I have saved your soul in the heavens, and now save it on the ground. - TwilighCelunaCircuits
King Tryndamere 100 October 30, 2012 Author Share October 30, 2012 just thought id add here that you aren't going to save or change the world by arguing with people on the internet. idk where you are finding these comments that bother you so much, but that is a part of the internet and you aren't going to change that by debating it. there are alot of people who just say horrible things online because they can, and they enjoy getting a rise from people like you. but it sounds like you just like the act of arguing. Yeah, I can't deny that I do sometimes get a rush from it. Although whenever I can, I try to use logic and information to debunk their claims. That gives me the biggest rush of all, knowing that they have been 100% proven wrong, with sound logic and reasoning.
PlunderSteed 1,252 October 30, 2012 Share October 30, 2012 Im not as much addicted to arguing as I am to letting people know that their opinion is their opinion and that they shouldnt present it as a fact Fair enough. Unless their argument is based on pure fact. Where is ur god nao?!? Still, it's important to understand that most people on YouTube never come back to defend whatever idiot argument they started, so even if you're "right", you won't convince anyone, since they're not there to see their argument refuted in the first place. Bunches 81 October 30, 2012 Share October 30, 2012 Yeah, I can't deny that I do sometimes get a rush from it. Although whenever I can, I try to use logic and information to debunk their claims. That gives me the biggest rush of all, knowing that they have been 100% proven wrong, with sound logic and reasoning. so basically what this boils down to, is that you get off on being right. which is fair enough, a lot of people do. that's fine. so what was the issue here? Actually, I'm more intrigued by the 23 per cent who are apparently doing quite well for themselves." -Jerry Garcia Say hi to me on Gaia, username: SkrinkleAndSkrod
