Naturematthe 51 November 4, 2012 Share November 4, 2012 Good evening. This topic is a direct sequel to this one. It is not necessary to read this other topic before listening to the music here, though. All pieces of music are available as PDF sheets. Part 2: Pieces for groups of instruments 1: Brony anthem SoundCloud link A while ago a brony in a German forum wrote the lyrics for a brony anthem and asked me to compose the music for it. This is the result. If wanted, I can try to translate the lyrics. 2: Luna Republik SoundCloud link I wrote this piece of music as a title theme for a Role Play I participated in. It is inspired by by NotACleverPony. 3: The Reason Why - Intro SoundCloud link This piece of music is based on a Role Play as well. For several reasons I don't want to tell too much about the plot, just that: Equestria is in danger, and only a little group of cloned ponies can save Equestria. Well, they are supposed to save Equestra, but can they even do it? 4: The Reason Why - Outro SoundCloud link If the RP goes as planned, they will be able to save all the ponies, This piece of music describes the RP's ending. It shares a lot of similarities with the intro. Part 3: A very special project (Work in progress) My Little Pony: Music Is Magic is my biggest current project. I want to combine all songs from MLP's first and second season in one piece of music - only with classic instruments, which means flutes, oboes, clarinets, bassoons, French horns, trumpets, trombones, timpani, harp and strings. Can you find all nine songs I used in this version? My music (classic)
techno915 408 November 4, 2012 Share November 4, 2012 The brony music I listen to most often is music by Eurobeat Brony. They do excellent instrumental remixes of mlp songs. True, they do sound more like something made by Garage Band and not by a symphonic band, but they are nothing like dubstep and have no lyrics to hide the music. I do like lyrics to songs, but sometimes the music is wonderful as is. A few examples: Sandstorm by Darude, Mozart stuff, Beethoven stuff, Jessica by the Allman Brothers Band, etc. The simplest explanation I can think of as to why I don't care so much for lyrics in the mlp music I listen to would be that I use it to calm me down and focus. If there were lyrics, I would sing along and lose focus of what I was supposed to be doing at that time. TL;DR Really? That was too long for you? Basically, if you don't want dubstep but still want mlp music, Eurobeat Brony is a great choice IMO. I'm sorry if this topic's title looked like offending anyone, and I'm also very sorry if I just misinterpreted your text and now think I offended someone. I just noticed that a lot of brony musicians do dubstep or remixes, and as neither of both seems to be my kind of music to make, I wanted to show it in the title. I also like Eurobeat Brony's music, but mine is different, and I wanted to show it^^ My music (classic)

Either way, I would love to hear mlp music played on a clarinet. This is my ninth year playing the clarinet and have grown very fond of the instrument. This is my ninth year playing the clarinet and have grown very fond of the instrument. I think I can arrange this (in both senses of the word). I guess it's a clarinet in B flat? If you want me to arrange MLP songs/music for clarinet (plus an instrument like guitar or piano), let me know. My music (classic)

If you are willing to go out of your way to do that, that would be awesome! But only if you want to. It's not like I need it or anything. ~insert discorded apple jack face~ if you wish to send me the music, I can pm you my email or YouTube or something. I love finding awesome people. AegisReflector 886 November 4, 2012 Share November 4, 2012 Finally, a different take on the music of MLP! I like orchestrial and symphonic music so this was really a nice change of direction. The Brony anthem was amazing. Keep up the good work!
LionzNTiggerz 0 November 14, 2012 Share November 14, 2012 (edited) I really like the medley. I like the part at 8:00, it's as if the melodies are gently swirling around your head. It's very good. It sounds magestic. It sounds beautifully understated, too. Edited November 14, 2012 by LionzNTiggerz
