Looking for Animators/Anyone Interested in Animating

Greetings everypony, I am searching for fellow animators to help me out with

 

The First MLP Full 60 minute Movie.

 

Or at least I think it's the first.

Couldn't find any other animations longer than Dusk's Dawn.

 

 

So If you are interested please let me know via PM or comment below.

 

You will need Flash CS5 or higher. There are however some mediafire downloads you can access to get adobe Flash CS5.

 

If you Don't know ANYTHING about animating then I can teach you how to animate ponies just like the show.

 

Just check out my animation I've already done. I may throw up a link to it later.

Let me animate! some questions: how will everything proceed, will the animators be doing different parts of the movie? is it going to be all hand-drawn?(if so, i can do that.) or is it going to use common pony vectors?

I was going to animate EXACTLY like the show does. Same style with the vectors, same angles, same use of backdrops. The animators will first be showing me that they can animate, or I will be teaching them how to animate (it's not that hard once you have it figured out.)

 

I will most likely assign each animator a different section of the movie to work on. When they finish that section, then I will assign a new section, or have them take a vacation/help with other people's sections.

 

We are working for quality over quantity here. I don't want to end up like Dusk's Dawn.

(Which wasn't entirely as horrible as I make it sound)

I hate to be the downer here, but at this point I'll direct you to The Journey of the Spark, a video project led by a guy named Eric (a neat Brony that I talked with briefly on Skype, and someone that I'll hopefully be interviewing in the future).

 

His crew is already working on the first full length MLP movie, and it's set to come out in a year or two. They've already had advisement from Lauren Faust about the legalities involved with something like this, etc.

 

That being said, I can't wait to see what you guys come up with, if this project should take off.

Ok, so were trying to replicate the animating style of the show. Although, i have to tell you that you shouldn't just teach people who havent animated before, and then merely assign them to the show. To get it looking good, it takes some getting used to

XD That's true. It does sound a bit more intriguing that way, now doesn't it?

 

Just prepare yourself for a long, long process of animating/voice acting, as Eric has told me that it's terribly time consuming.

It's going to be a partial OC story that also ties in with the mane 6. But be forewarned, the characters are well explained in my plot as opposed to other OC animations. I made sure that this would happen to avoid any complaints that were about how nobody had a feel for the characters. I use the mane 6 rarely, but they do play a role.

 

I am only giving out a plot scripting to those truly dedicated to the project (to avoid idea stealing). So when you know whether or not you'd like to definitely join, please tell me.

 

I can give you a main idea. It's a StarWars MLP partial crossover.

SkyDash, My OC, has his girlfriend killed by a sith pony.

Sky's master turns out to be... well, can't give away too much can I?

Why, do not worry about asking too many questions. The more the merrier. Here are 2 clips I came up with. The second was slowed down and is incomplete but it was hard to complete because of the triple rainboom prospect. Sorry it's short. and low quality because of the conversion.

That's cool man, I work slow sometimes too. But hey, the more people we have the faster this thing goes right?
