More mediocre art by me, Now with Mediocre background!

Alright so I drew another picture of my OC, for some more practice. I'm not really sure what to say about this one, I mean I don't know if I really truly made a whole lot of improvement, and theres still problems with it(Something with the heads bothering me I'm not entirely sure what.)

 

Also I threw together a random background, you don't have to say anything about it because I was just bored of the white background behind my OC . Its pretty bleh but if you wanna critique or even offer tips and stuff on anything really in the picture feel free! I'm always looking for critique I can use it to improve overall and maybe become half decent at making pony art atleast .

Alright here's my OC picture I made. (Note I changed the Tail style because I didn't like the other one that much.) Feel free to leave any and all Critique and comments!

 

 

 

Might wanna note that I don't really have any experience with art outside of the 3 drawings I made so far of my OC. This was drawn in GIMP with a mouse. Took me about 1 1/2- 2 hours to do this(And another 15-20 mins on the BG.)

 

I guess thats it, hope you get some enjoyment out of my half baked art! I also may decide to do more practicing in between the next time I do some art, which also means the more feedback I have the more I can work to improve! Also any tips are very much appreciated or even if you wanna link or suggest resources! Anything helps! (Especially a novice artist like me)

It's ok, though the bodies lower line goes through the front legs lines. It looks very blocky as well. The body should be a little shorter and more rounded.

Oh dangit I didn't even remeber to take those lines out XD. I think i'm gonna fix that one and update it. Thank you for pointing that out!

And I assume drawing more rounded motions would fix the blockyness or no?

And the body needs to be shorter length wise or height?
