Courageous Thunder Dash 7,824 November 27, 2012 Share November 27, 2012 (edited) Yes, some of the moves found in Dragonball Z can be actually pulled off in real life. I have found a way to gather the energy all around me, concentrate it into a ball, and fire it at will. This energy is well known as Ki Energy. The reason why I know this is that I am a martial artist. I am a 3rd degree black belt (not to brag or anything) Anyway, it is said that the Ancient Chinese/Japanese/Korean (and other regions in that area) studied meditation and how to harness nature's energy around them to use it as self defense. It's a long story. Everyone has this ability. The hard thing is harnessing it for the first time. It actually only took me one night to master this technique. From that night on, I taught myself how to apply ki energy to my daily life. Here's how to make an energy ball There are two ways of doing this For those who have never made an energy ball before here is the way to do it 1. Place your hand around the part of your forearm, where you can feel a pressure point. 2. Squeeze (but not too hard) down 3. While squeezing, slowly move your hand up your arm all the way to the beginning of your wrist. 4. Do this for both arms 5. Now, imagine that you are holding a ball in front of you. Put your hands in the position as if you are holding a ball 6. Keep your fingers stiff. You will soon feel a slight resistance around your hands. This is your energy ball For those who are comfortable doing the beginner energy ball, here's the more advanced technique Instant Energy ball 1. Make a ball shape with your hands. As soon as you make the shape, tense up your fingers and focus. ou should feel your energy ball developing within seconds. Now, here are some advanced techniques I have done myself Kamehameha (yes people, this is real, I have done it to several friends and they all have felt the energy [and some have even fallen]) 1. Make an energy ball 2. Develop the ball (meaning that the ball must be solid enough to stay in contact as it flies though the air. If fired too early, the ball, being too weak to sustain, will dissapate and the person will feel nothing) 3. Fire the ball as if you were doing an actual Kamehameha Energy gather/charge Tense all of your muscles and hold for several seconds. When you face your hands to the ground, they should rise by themselves due to the amount of energy gathered. Try these techniques and see if you can actually get them to work. I would love to hear stories of how you people got Ki energy to work. Windy Scamper 403 November 27, 2012 Share November 27, 2012 This is Hard to do when you have no previous experience... But, when trying to make my energy ball, I could feel energy moving through my fingers, and I swear my target (a small ball) moved a little after the Kame Hame Ha attempt. That's a great start! When doing the Kamehameha, try practicing with targets that are lightweight, then progressively increase the weight of your target. But don't overstress yourself. Some people tend to get a little too cocky and hurt themselves in the process. You must take things slow, but for now, great job. Keep at it, soon, you'll be able to use your energy to levitate. Windy Scamper 403 November 28, 2012 Share November 28, 2012 Wait, you said the energy ball technique given is for those who have never done it before....are there other ways to do it? How? PLEASE post them! <p>MY OCS (So I never have to post a link again)Windy Scamper-Leafdew-Slide Grease-Silent Dance-MacHayver Thank you ThaumicSlime for my avatar! Twiliscael 3,960 November 28, 2012 Share November 28, 2012 I'm sorry but I do not see this as being possible at all. The different stuff from Dragon Ball Z, like Ki energy, is all made up for a fictional world. It may be based off of certain martial arts and beliefs, but unless there is absolute proof, I ain't buyin' it. I tend to take the high road, get stoned, and fly low . . . Pan the Fabulous Ferret 2,642 November 28, 2012 Share November 28, 2012 I am not entirely sure what you mean by holding the ball. As I see several different ways to do that. Could you perhaps show a picture of what the hands should look like?

You can also google it, but I'll take the picture. Darker 1,351 August 25, 2014 Share August 25, 2014 All the moves done in DB were inspired by real martial arts. Heck, the moves of Goku were inspired by Bruce Lee himself. And Ki/Chi/Qi is actually real. John Chang proves it.
