How did you find MLP Forums?: I just happened to find this forum when I was surfing the interconnects.

How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I had to watch it for a bet and I got hooked almost immediately. Not much else to tell.

 

My name is Alex. I'm a student at COD, the local community college... honestly I'm not sure what else to say. Normally I don't spend any time on forums or social networking sites and I might never come back to this one. I have social anxiety disorder and even through the internet, this sort of thing is stepping way out of my comfort zone. I've never been on Facebook, Twitter, or Tumblr, and until recently I felt weird even commenting on youtube videos. Don't get me wrong, I'm not totally antisocial or against technology, I just have trouble putting myself out there, and it never really interested me anyway. But for whatever reason, I felt like doing this, so maybe its the beginning of something for me. Awkward exposition aside, I do really want to become a part of this community and I hope it works out. I love mlp and I have plenty to say about it if I feel its right. On a completely unrelated note, I have a nearly encyclopedic knowedge of D&D (3.5 at least) and Highlander, so if anyone wants to indulge their inner nerd, I'm always up for it. Wow, this has gone on way longer than it should have now... um... bye.
