WWAPD 126 December 16, 2012 Share December 16, 2012 About a couple of years ago I started getting migraines. Or at least that's what I think they are. They start out with a strange after-image sensation in my eyes, and then about an hour or so later, it goes to my stomach, and i get a pounding headache. It usually ends with me throwing up, but if I don't eat or drink anything for about four hours I'm usually fine. I'm not even sure you would even call these migraines but from what I've heard, they fit the description (apologies if I'm wrong). It's not so much the headaches that bothers me, it's the sensation in my eyes, the queesy feeling in my stomach, and the sinking feeling that I get when I realize it's going to happen again. I'm writing this topic because lately I've been getting them more frequently. I'm wondering if anypony has any suggestions as to preventing/stopping this sort of thing. Rarity is best pony. Magpie 623 December 16, 2012 Share December 16, 2012 (edited) I'm not quite sure myself. I occasionally get something similar, but the after-image affect you describe doesn't happen. When it happens to me, I usually either completely lose vision in one or both of my eyes, or get a very blurred view, as if something were on my eye. So i'm quite interested in an answer as well. You probably have a more serious problem, which would be the nerves for your eyes are essentially being crushed by something. Not sure if this is what is happening to you, but if it is, you might need to see somebody about that.... ~Asuka <3~ 867 December 16, 2012 Share December 16, 2012 First off, I know this feel. I hate my migraines. Secondly, this is what I have as well. It is called 'migraine with visual aura'. The problems with your eyes are the aura, or warning, that a migraine is coming on. The visual aura for me is usually a bunch of zig-zag lines that start in the middle, and then gradually move towards the right and then out of my eye. Then the stomach ache starts, along with sensitivity to light, and then the detrimental headache begins. To prevent this, I'd first go to a neurologist. They will most likely diagnose you with migraines, and give you some medication. Just a hint of advice; right when the aura begins, take something. This could possibly lead to the stoppage, or weakening, of the migraine. Best of luck to you! #1 Asuka fanboy. Signature created by Thunder Bolt. One 498 December 16, 2012 Share December 16, 2012 (edited) Never heard of anything like this so I'm going to make something up. Aliens must of implanted you with some kind of virus that is turning you into one of them, these are just the side effects of it. Or you're dying.
