Anyhow, since I'm too lazy to get stuff actually done, I made sketches instead. Sketches which I could probably take out later on and then finalize them into something pretty. Or something ugly. It depends, really. Note: The Pinkie Pie one was used in a post I made in a thread that has nothing to do with this one. Anyhow, shiver at my minimalistic drawing style. I suppose I'll make more sketches later on, because at the moment I really feel like continuing, but it's sleep time, so I guess it'll have to wait for tomorrow or something. Edit: Okay, I just can't look past the idea that Ditzy looks too much like Applejack! That's what you get when trying to make an usually goofy-portraited character try to look serious. Also, she looks less sinister and more seductive. The sketches are very smooth looking and pressing to the eye.I hope to see more of this kind of work I have the answer: in the original thread, the topic was something along the lines of "What would you do if you had 24 hours in Equestria?", and therefore I decided to draw a picture of it to show my dismay with Pinkie Pie's annoyingness in the most recent episode.. There I am asking if she could return to her self from Season 1, back where her crazy antics still made me smile... Anyhow thanks. Also, to everyone else, I'd really appreciate some feedback, okay? Artling 54 December 17, 2012 Share December 17, 2012 Looking pretty good. You have a nice line quality to your sketches and it's cool to see you drawing through and constructing the characters. Watch out on Rarity's hooves though. They're looking 2D and flat, make sure you give dimension to her legs by drawing them as cylinders rather than rectangles.Watch that your head shapes stay consistent. Ditzy's head is getting a bit squashed in comparison to the other drawings. Also a good thing to consider are poses. Poses can show personality better than expressions. So if you wanted a sinister look, a sinister pose will communicate it better than an expression (though you still want to make sure the expressions comes across well too) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They're not supposed to be "good", though. Nor are they big. In fact, they're TINY. It's just a reckless habit of mine to draw things very small... I also tried colouring in the Pinkie Pie from last time, but I can't say I'm too impressed by myself. Although, it was one of the first times colouring with that program, so I suppose I can only get better over time... v.v There. Sorry if you were expecting something...better... I suppose I'll get back to the tablet once I have time. But for now I'll just have to do with this. ... ... ... Something I did quite a while back out of complete boredom.
