LittleSis 62 January 1, 2013 Share January 1, 2013 I've been a Brony (Pegasister?) for a few months now. My favorite pony is Fluttershy. I also have a strange love for Discord (I think he's an awesome character no matter how evil he is). I'm totally caught up on the episodes (including Seasons 1 and 2). My friend introduced me to the forum a while ago and I've since decided to join. I am, by nature, a lurker on the internet but I hope to make some posts and talk to some more people on this site. You all seem super nice and that's the main reason I joined (aside from the obvious love of MLP). My question is, since I'm a girl, am I allowed to call myself a Brony or should I stick with Pegasister? I tend to hang out with mostly guys and I am attempting to achieve some sort of "bro" status wit my guy friends. I'm not big on hanging out with girls...too much drama and other girly stuff I don't care for. Where should the line be drawn between a brony and a pegasister? Is it all about gender? Or can personality come into it too? I'd love to hear from guys and girls on this one. Thanks so much everypony! I look forward to using the forum and getting to hear what everyone has to say!! 3 …yay…
anythingmasterz 75 January 1, 2013 Share January 1, 2013 First off, welcome! And as for your question, my answer is that you can use whichever you want. To me, I leave it up to the person to decide if they want to be called a pegasister or if they want to be called a brony. http://www.bronyland...est/?q=NzAwOHww My first OC(and ponysona) - http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/lark-feaustrom-r1412 For my Open Beta RPG...GO to here
Master Blade the Bearded 112 January 1, 2013 Share January 1, 2013 Welcome to the site! As far as your question, brony is an all-encompassing term for both genders, while pegasister is only for females. Some people make the distinction, but to me, all pegasisters are also bronies, it just depends on what they want to be called.
AmarisNsane 2,730 January 1, 2013 Share January 1, 2013 Yay! Hello and nice to meet you! ^^- Also, for the question I do believe that it shouldn't matter! "Brony" although typically most popular when referring to males, actually applies to both genders. It's a term used to describe a fan and is certainly not 'gender locked'! I think that it should be more than fine for you to use the term for yourself Whatever makes you feel more comfortable. Thank you for the amazing signature, @Sparklefan1234! ❤w❤
Chill Mists (Chilly) 801 January 1, 2013 Share January 1, 2013 Welcome to the forums, I see we both have the same favorite pony, good choice there :3. For your question, go with whichever one you prefer I guess. I look forward to seeing you post . Brushing your hair is for people who care and someone who cares is not I, I'll jump off a bridge and then fill up your fridge, and best pony is Fluttershy. Her face is still blushing and she is still eating the pasta. "on the internet;everyone are strong"- Guy on Youtube.
