Stalliongrad 982 January 5, 2013 Share January 5, 2013 I didn't have a Dakota but i did have a Durango which i loved until the transmission died. It guzzled fuel like a thirsty camel but i loved it. My friend had a Dakota which was one of the models that was recalled because of the Ball Bearings snapping. They offered to give him a new one and he loved the old one so much he turned it down and told them to fix it. ~Signature Awesomely Made By Frozen Mint~ http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/crimson-star-r1439

Stalliongrad 982 January 5, 2013 Share January 5, 2013 It was a 2000. I had it for .... i think about 2 years but i bought it used and I got it to about 230k miles before the trans went on me. I blame DaimlerChrysler I had alot of DaimlerChrysler cars before they all had the exact same problem. The transmissions all went. I had several Grand Caravans I just had enough and got an Ford Expidition. ~Signature Awesomely Made By Frozen Mint~ http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/crimson-star-r1439
Rainbow Dash 1,472 January 5, 2013 Author Share January 5, 2013 OMG thats is sexy! im nearing the 120k mark and my transmission is in fair condition. there was and instance when is jumped outta gear and wouldnt get back into D unless i restarted the engine. other than that its been good to me. Is that a 4x4 or a 4x2? R.I.P. Lord Bababa and Harmonic Revelations
Stalliongrad 982 January 5, 2013 Share January 5, 2013 4X4. I loved it in the snow nothing could stop me. She began to fall apart all over the place. The Radio stopped working. The window motors in the rear stopped working. The automatic locks went out. I was driving behind a truck and a rock hit my windshield when i was on my way to Philadelphia and the crack spread all the way across the windshield. The engine was a V8 and she drank like one but i loved it i really did. It didnt have the 3rd row seat. Later on i did put some flowmasters on just for kicks. Woke my neighbors up every morning. I drive my whole (extended) family around now so i really did need something bigger. ~Signature Awesomely Made By Frozen Mint~ http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/crimson-star-r1439

Stalliongrad 982 January 5, 2013 Share January 5, 2013 Ford Expedition. I fell out of love with Dodge for some reason. They just look weak .. now. The new Durango isnt even a 4x4 its a crossover. So even if i wanted it, it couldn't do for me what my old one could. But i dont want to open that can of worms. I know never to insult a mans truck lol. I do like that new turn knob thing in the new Ram. I think that was long overdue. ~Signature Awesomely Made By Frozen Mint~ http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/crimson-star-r1439
