Damon slipped on the glove, taking his wool fingerless glove off. His fire magic covered it for a few seconds, when it cleared it looked identical to the glove he just took off. But it still had all the electronics in it and such. He grinned as he sat up on a bed, looking around the room. "Lenny is going to be so livid when he finds out..." He thought. 

 

He figured he would start redecorating the room at another time, but now he would just need to get his bearings with this new group.

The Rocketeer nodded and listened to scipios plan, "sounds like a solid plan, at tonights meeting we will discuss with the troops about how we are going to carry out this operation" he looked over at schwartz "do you know which side of the city your troops are at right now? if its the north or south side it might be a little easier to sneak in" he looked at king "you said something about a concert to hide the influx of troops right?"

*Schwartz nodded.*

"They should be on the southeast side of the city, the same part as the old city. This morning I went and talked to my troops for a bit, and I looked around the old warehouses that are above the old city. I did manage to find a small secret entrance, but it wouldn't be very effective to get 200 troops through there unnoticed. I sent a small group of scouts through the entrance to start clearing out the old city of any previous occupants that may be a threat."

*Schwartz explained. She heard Scipio's suggestion.*

"Ill be right back."

*She said before running back to her room, grabbing her bag, then running back out into the meeting room and handing the bag to Sasha*

"Take this, it has infinite storage space inside and you can use it to bring some explosives to the enemy base, and transport equipment back in it."

*Sasha gently took the bag.*

 

"Thanks, this should help a lot."

*She smiled.*

The Rocketeer remarked "sounds good, now its just a matter of getting the rest of the troops down there"

 

a rebel entered the room "um sir, you remeber that official we shot the other day?"

 

The Rocketeer answered in a questioning tone of voice "umm yes?"

 

The Rebel responded "he was spotted in east park...alive" he pulls out his phone and shows them a picture of him sitting at the gazebo

"My dad's alive!?"

*Sasha said hearing the rebel and seeing the photo.*

"RT, is okay if... I go and see him? I need to make sure he is okay."

*Sasha looked desperate, she was wearing her street clothes so she wouldn't be recognized as Weiss.*

"Please? This is really important."

 

*King stood up next to her.*

"Ill go to, to make sure everything is safe."

The Rocketeer nodded "its alright go on, and watch your back, it could be a trap"

 

 

Hunter sighed, he was sitting at the gazebo, he looked at himself, his suit was dirty, there was a hole in the shoulder, along with blood on it, he checked his phone, it was dead "shit..." he mumbled

*Sasha and King arrived near the gazebo and saw Hunter.*

"Dad!"

*Sasha ran up to him and hugged him, her scar and shorter hair very noticeable.*

"I thought you were dead!"

*She was crying.*

"I couldn't believe it when I found out what happened, Im so glad you are okay."

*King walked over to them.*

 

"Glad to see you are safe Mr. Track."

*King said with a smile.*

Hunter hugged her back, but said "i know it was you who called the shot, my captors played a voice recorder, i heard your voice say "take the shot" " it was very appearent that he wasnt very happy, and there was a hint of dissapointment, he was also tired and agitated

*The smile on Sasha and King's faces dropped.*
"It really wasn't my choice dad."

*She said sadly.*

"I was given a job. But I did do something. At the last second, I nudged the gun. If I hadn't, well, you probably wouldn't be here right now."

*She pulled out of the hug and looked into her father's eyes.*

"Calling the shot was not something I wanted to do. But it was something I had to do. I understand if you never want to see me again, but I hate this government. After all its done to the people of this country and others, Eastros doesn't deserve my loyalty, or my power."

*Sasha explained to her father. She turned to walk away.*

"Im sorry dad, but rebelling is the only option I have."

Hunter looked down "sahsa wait, why? there are other ways to protest other than murder, ive helped run this country for years, why are you doing this now? stop this before you get yourself killed! sasha, i still love and care about you, your making a big mistake"

*Sasha turned towards her father. Her eyes were glowing, one white and the other black, tears ran down her face out of them.*

"Dont you know why there is never any protest in this country? Because anyone who tries is jailed! Do you know why Sashiil hates us? Because our government kidnaps their people, then tortures and experiments on them!"

*Sasha said angrily.*

"I love you too dad, but I hate who you work for. And nothing short of a full scale rebellion will ever stop the horrors that our government commits. That is why I fight. That is why I rebel. And nothing you say can stop me from fighting for what I believe in."

Hunter: was taken aback "i...i..." he sighs he looks back up at her and is suprised "a-are you alright? y-y-your eyes are glowing!"  he looked shocked and stunned, but he was also worried, thoughts were running through his head, was she a super? that cat be, supers dont exist, do they? his mind raced

Illium and Wesley watched as King and Sasha ran out, evidently not noticing them.

"If all of them are that stupid, this is gonna be a piece of cake," grinned Wesley, and he shoved open the door, which had been left unlocked.

Floating the crates he lazily floated them down the stairs. A few rebels came running and one by one they fell over asleep.

"Excuse me? Anyone home?" he called innocently as Illium stuffed the guards in a closet to hide them, changing her appearance just in case. Though no one knew them, anonymity was her game.

 

Dyn suddenly approached the two out of the shadows, his dark indigo eyes catching the sunlight.

"Is there a problem here?" he said in his deep voice, which often came off as menacing.

"Im a super dad. I know you never believed in them, but its true."

*Light and shadows swirled around Sasha and attached themselves to her in a way that resembled her vigilante outfit. They then dispersed and she was back in her normal clothes.*

"Im sure you have heard about the rebel Weiss among your co-workers. Well the identity of Weiss, is me. Your own daughter."

*Sasha said. They then heard a clapping noise. It was coming from the top of the gazebo.*

 

"Well, well! So dramatic."

*Jonah jumped down from the roof of the gazebo and smiled. He looked at Hunter.*

"Its nice to meet you again Mr. Track. I have been tasked with returning you to headquarters. Our bosses are very worried about you."

*Jonah looked at Sasha.*

"And you, you caused quite a ruckus didn't you. Thanks for revealing your identity by the way. It was quite helpful."

The Rocketeer and several rebels looked towords the enterance, he slowly reached for his SMG, something was fishey

Hunter was in shock and at a complete loss of words

 

then a dark figure appeared and at the same time  jonah came down "please dont do anything to her, she is my daughter after all..."

"Hello? We were ordered to drop some packages off at this location," called Wesley again.

 

Dyn sighed. "Are you blind?" he asked bluntly. "It's me. It appears that your pick-up has arrived, though, so I can leave now." He gave Hunter a rare quick grin. "Pleasure to meet you and all that crap."

"Oh I have nothing planned for her."

*Jonah said casually.*

"Yet."

*He grinned and laughed maniacally.*

"Come along Mr. Track, you have a lot of explaining to do to our superiors."

*Jonah snapped his fingers and a portal opened around Hunter, forcing him through it.*

 

"Dad!"

*Sasha shouted. Jonah laughed again.*

 

"Ill be back for you later little Weiss. And thank you too Mr. King, for revealing yourself as a rebel. Im sure your sister will be... elated."

*He laughed once more and stepped through the portal, which closed quickly behind him. King looked terrified.*

 

"Kelly! No!"

*He said. King's sister was in a coma at a local hospital. She had been for a few years now.*

The Rocketeer readied the SMG the the rebels aimed their guns at the enterance  very weary, this also ment that they would have to move their HQ, this one was breached, he was pissed off but he would deal with it later, now he had an intruder to deal with

Wesley came around the corner and noticed the pointed guns, then lifted his hands in surrender.

"I'm sorry, did I get the wrong address? Don't shoot the messenger and all," he said, his act of laughing nervousness so impeccable that even Illium was fairly convinced.

 

Dyn glanced at the two remaining. "He seems...interesting," he said quietly.

Hunter appeared in some kind of base "he-hey, this isnt my office, where are we now? he found a chair and sat down " and im serious about my daughter, she is not to be harmed by your plans"

"And who are you?"

*King asked Dyn. He was not in a good mood.*

 

"Come on King, we need to get back to base. I screwed up, big time."

*Sasha said disappointed in herself.*

"Dont worry Mr. Track."

*Jonah said, closing the portal behind him.*

"I wont hurt her one bit. Not that I could. The rebel Weiss is known for her healing factor. Didn't you see her scar? She was shot in the face recently."

Hunter gasped "s-shot?? this...is a lot to take in...i learned that my daughter is a rebel and running around with murders, then not only do i learn that supers exist, but my own daughter is one" he sighed, he reached into his suit and pulled out a snub nosed .38 special revolver  "im going to have to start loading this..."

"I have a package to deliver," said Wesley shakily. "Just give me a second while my associate here helps me fetch them." He waved to Illium and they dragged in both of the large crates.

"I guess you can thank me for saving him later," said Dyn with a sad smile. "Your father is a very...commanding man, by the way," he added to Sasha.

"Im surprised you hadn't believed in supers before. Our superiors use them all the time. Im a super, the president himself is a super, didn't you know all this? Or are you really just the nieve ignorant man that everyone says you are?"

*Jonah asked him.*

"And our superiors are not exactly saints themselves you know. I was a mass murderer once, but then I was employed by the govenment. They gave me the power to become immortal."

*Jonah walked over to one of the chambers in his lab.*

"I use the DNA from several subjects of mine to create artificial bodies that I transfer myself into. An alchemically created artificial body called a homunculus. Thats what I am. And it is brilliant. I couldn't ask for a better way to live than this. Being a super, a superior human being, is wonderful."

"Yeah, dont I know it."

*Sasha said sadly before she and King went on their way back to the rebel base.*

Hunter shook his head "nobody told me, and i already knew that that the goverment is full of shady people, and your story dosent suprise me, i  myself have had to use, rather shady tactics to make sure this country never went bankrupt, but i guess i do owe you something so um... here have this" gives him one of the bottles of "wine"
