open Aiicornia: The City of Everfree

(OOC: Me? Draw better? Pffffff, haahahah, you made my day! I can hardly draw and i barely passed my drawing classes in high school.)

 

"Hmmm, yeah sure, why not." Mortimer said.  "Do you need anything from the store honey?" he said smiling.

Mortimer leaned over the window, it was a beautiful, shiny day, without any trace of yesterday rain.

Desert rose poured the batter onto the pan. "Um, I don't think I need anything, not that I can think of right now anyway. So, do you maybe want to go back to the lake we went to yesterday? Maybe swim or something, or we could ust relax on the moss or." Desertrose realized she had been rambling a bit, but she was excited to spend the day with Mor! Desertrose gasped excitedly. "We could pack a picnic lunch! I have always wanted to have a picnic!" She squeaked happily and jumped up and down. "We could go the store after breakfast and get supplies for sandwiches!"

"Ummm, yeah let's do that! But remember i have a city to attend, maybe i could spend 2 or 3 hourse with, then i have to make a quick look at the city, to make sure everything is ok, righto?" he said smiling, he was really thrilled about the idea of spending the day with her, but first: PANCAKES!

Freshien snapped his attention back to the property he was just at. "Freshien?!?" he heard called. He trotted back and greeted Rocket. "Hello sir, as you apparently saw on my note, my name is Freshien, at your service. *Bows* This city seems to be lacking in property and I need a place to stay, would you be opposed to having a roommate?"

 

Daffodil grinned at Mel. "Ok, follow me, I'll 2how you where I get my egg2." Daffodil trotted up the stairs and into the aviary. "Hey 2ayble, you have any egg2 for me yet?" Sayble nodded and lifted up her wing to reveal a half dozen fresh eggs. Daffodil trotted over and picked up a basket, then sooped the eggs into the basket. She trotted back over to Mel and handed him the eggs. "2o, what did you need egg2 for?"

 

Desertrose squeaked and blushed. "Oh, good morning Mor! I'm making some pancakes for breakfast. You hungry?" She turned around and kissed him on the cheek, then turned back around and continued mixing the batter.

 

(OOC: Thanks for clarifying Mor! That is exactly what I meant. :3 Also thanks, It's really hard to draw with the touch pad thing on my laptop ;-; And I'm sure you could manage making a map of equal or greater quality, probaby greater though xD I really am struggling with digital drawing)

Rockets Eyes lit up "of course not! I would enjoy having the company! my names Rocket Blast" he stuck out a hoof,  "just ,im going to warn you there was an.... issue last night and my house is kind of messy" he looked embarrassed. he turned back to his new friend and said "if you don't mind, I need to go find Mor, ill walk you back to the house and let you get comfortable."

(OOC ) "Well thank you mr. Blast. What would you prefer I call you?" he shook the hoof and walked back with rocket blast. In the back of his mind, Freshien was so horribly happy. All his 'relationships' had been work. He had never had a friend or even aquaintences. He entered the house to see a, messy interior. Rocket left and Freshien got to work. He put back couch cushions, straightened picture frames, put back and organized books, and made beds. Then, crashed on the couch.

"You can call me Rocket, Rock, or Rocky, I Get Them all haha!" Rocket said politely he walked his new friend back (as long as Jet Doesn't Come back, we should be good) he thought to himself

 

Rocket wrote a letter to Mor, it said

Mor

if you hear anything From my Doctor, please feel free to find me at anytime

your friend

Rocket.

P.S. theres a new Pony in town, hes over at my house if you would like to meet him.

he sent the letter and started his walk back to his house he walked in to his new friend asleep on the couch and the house completely spotless. Rocket smiled and went upstairs to make the guest room for his new Friend.

Mortimer head knock at the door and walked to it. He found a letter from his friend Rocket stating problems about his doctor, then introducing a new pony in the town.

Mortimer walked to where Desertrose was and informed her of the situation. "A new pony is in the town, he's living with Rocket Blast, i can introduce you to them later if you want".

Freshien awoke to a leathery, fuzzy couch. He was chilly because he forgot a blanket. He got up and decided to explore. There were many rooms and 2 bathrooms. Freshien trotted upstairs and saw a note tacked on the door. It said "Freshien, this will be your room - Rocket" Freshien walked in to a fairly bland room, a good canvas. He fell asleep on the bed. He had no idea why he was so tired.

Rocket was downstairs in the kitchen, thinking about how nice his roommate was when he heard Jets voice again, "amazing! you actually made a friend! this time, don't kill him in a fire" Jet Taunted.

"Youre not real, and I didn't Cause the fire!" rocket calmly argued.

"whatever, Ground Lover. you know mom was in pieces after you had left, she didn't even talk anymore" Jet said as he turned away from Rocket, ''I don't know why, you aren't even worth the tears." this struck a cord in Rocket. he looked down in shame. Jet smiled, knowing he hit something in his brother. "dad and I were glad you left, you weren't even part of the family." he said.

Rocket Jumped up and attempted to tackle his brother, forgetting that he actually wasn't there. "SHUT UP!!!!!!" He Screamed as he attacked the illusion. he, of course, didn't hit his target and hit the ground with a loud crash. He looked up, and saw that Jet Was nowhere to be found. Rocket looked at the ground and started to cry.

Freshien woke up. SHUT UP!!!! He heard screamed. Freshien grabbed a blunt object from the room and made his way sneakily downstairs. He jumped around a corner and screamed out a battle cry ""AaaAAHHHH!!!!!hhhhhh????" the scream turned from rage to confusion. He found his friend crying on the floor with a shattered cupboard all over the ground. He walked over and dropped what he knew now was a kettle. He grabbed his friend and sat him up. "what happened?" he asked. There was nO sign of anyone but rocket. "come out you bast*rd!!!" Freshien yelled. "Come at me!" nothing happened

 

He dropped to the ground and picked up his friend. He walked him to the couch. He gave him a hug and sat with him until he calmed down and asked again "what happened?" no reply. He cleaned up the cupboard and bundled up the wood. He dropped it in the fireplace. He sat down by his friend and waited. He desperately wanted to help his friend.

Freshien woke up. SHUT UP!!!! He heard screamed. Freshien grabbed a blunt object from the room and made his way sneakily downstairs. "about 2 years ago, me and my dad got in a huge fight, some things were said and I ran away. I was gone for about a month when I was about to go back to my home when I figured out my family had died in a fire. it devastated me, I have felt so guilty for the death of my family. then I started seeing my brother, Jet. whenever he shows up, he tells me how the fire was my fault or how my dad never cared about me. A doctor had finally helped me get over it about 6 months ago and I thought I was free from him. so I moved here. and last night he showed up again. that's why the house was a mess. and he just showed up a little bit ago and.... and I tried to tackle him. I forgot he wasn't really there, so I lunged at him." he started to cry again, rocket said "im sorry for waking you up" he waited for a response from his friend.

Freshien looked into the distance. "You won't believe me, but I've had the same experience." Freshien was quiet for a moment. "when I was 7-8 years old, me and my family went on a trip. My parents abandoned me on that trip. Ever since that day, I've had horrible nightmares every few months non-stop. I've had them appear and scorn me for being their hated child, and I've tried to kill them before. When I was in Ponyville, I had no one, which made it worse. Which is why I was so glad to move here with you, company always makes them go away."

Freshien walked out and down the road to the Pony-Mart he walked up to the mare at the counter and asked for some Doritos™, random sodas, and a bagfull of candy bars. "That ought to do it." Freshien paid and left. He got Back to his home base and dropped the snackage on the table and smiled "Ready to gorge yourself?"

"Omelettes, of course. I suppose I could make you scrambled eggs if that is what you prefer"

Melbourne paused for a second.

"Oh, how's the patient going. Is he holding up alright? No vomiting or gangrene in his wounds and burns?"

Between breaths, Freshien created inaudible noises and swallowed. "sorry my friend, but I have been known to comfort eat. Anyways, Well, I began creating a new, stronger batch of stallones for some customers in alicornia, I had a box all ready for shipping. I mixed the batch and took a sniff. I was knocked out. I fell into the box and was sent to aiicornia on a blimp. When i woke up, i was crammed in a box. so yeah pretty nutty couple of days. I did have some few thousand bits to spend though." Freshien plopped down on the couch and started dropping Doritos™ a sandwich and neatly covering it with snickers™ bars. He took a big bite and passed it to his friend. Yes, just a little. I imagine we could make a big tower out of these wrappers!" said Freshien. He grinned and ran to get some tape. He smushed the wrappers together and taped them together. The shiny, sharp tower got a meter tall. "let's test this thing out." stated Freshien. He got 11-12 full sized books on it before it crumbled. "Wheeeeeeeeeeweeeweeeewwwww!!!!!" shouted Freshien. Then They got to cleaning.

Daffodil grinned. "Oh heck ye2! I ju2t love omlette2, I can go get 2ome dai2ie2 from out back in ju2t a little bit!" Her face fell when he mentioned Ashwing. She looked at Mel with a sad smile. "Well, I don't really know how he'2 doing, he ha2n't talked yet. I'm pretty 2ure he i2n't going to die, and he'2 not bleeding everywhere, 2o I ju2t think he need2 2ome alone time or 2omething." She shook her head and smiled. "Anyway enough with the depre22ing 2la2h my2teriou2 talk, you want to come pick 2ome dai2ie2 with me?" She trotted out the back door and over to a small patch of daisies.

 

Desertrose felt her heart sink a little. She wanted to spend the whole day with him. She scolded herself. Don't be selfish! He has a job to do! Just then the door was knocked on. Mor walked out of the room. Desertrose continued making pancakes. Soo he came back. When he came back into the room, he mentioned a friend of his, and offered to introduce her to him. Desertrose grinned excitedly. "Oh yes please! I would love to make more friends!" I can't believe it! A colt-friend, and now maybe another new friend! I should move to new places more often! She thought to herself happily. She giggled quietly. She heard a timer go off over by the stove top. "Ah! That would be the last of the pancakes! I'll go get it!" SHe trotted over to the pancakes happily. She hummed to herself quietly as she put the pancakes on to two plates. She grabbed a small bowl and poured bird seed into it for Shadow. She took the three dishes and trotted over to the table. She set a plate in front of Mor, she put a bowl in front of the seat next to him. She trotted over to Shadow and put down the bowl of seeds down in front of him. She sat down next to Mor. She started eating happily.

(OOC: Ack!! I am sorry! I got grounded from my laptop for a bit ;-; I am back now though :3

@Freshien: Um, What do you mean you made a map? Do you mean you drew the map I did but better, or do you mean you drew another map of the city in a totally different way?)
