She began to thrash and flap her wings violently. "MASK! HELP ME, PLEASE!" she screamed, hoping that her call reached him, though she had high doubts it did. She continued to try to break free.

He could feel the scared pegasus struggling and trying to pull away from him and he held onto her tighter with his hooves. "Who is this Mask you scream for?" He asked sounding even more agitated if such a thing was possible. "You won't be my special somepony?" He asked glaring back to the group of ponies trying to calm him down. 
 

"Let. Her. Go." Snowdream repeated, her voice dangerously calm. she stepped foward another step, trying to make herself seem more menacing.

Crimson looked a bit surprised to see another mare stand up to him. "Just go away! This doesn't concern you! You had your chance to be my special somepony but now it's too late, I choose this one." He said hugging her.
 

"Hello, is there a problem, sir?" He quickly uttered, not sure where he was going with this.

The sudden voice made Crimson jump, accidentally letting his struggling hostage go. "Damn it!" He yelled making one more desperate grab for her but missed. There was nowhere left for the angry unicorn to go. He was surrounded by everypony and now his back was to the wall. Soon his anger and frustrations finally came out and he began to cry, though still showing aggression through his tears. "I'm so alone and worthless. No special somepony, no cutie mark... none of you could ever understand!"
 
 

" Please, we aren't here to laugh at you. I know how it felt to have a blank flank for a long time. " This could be a completely lose cause but she had to try.

 
"So... you were like me?" Crimson seemed to listen to Starshy for a moment but then his moment of calmness didn't last long. "No you don't understand either!" Crimson's horn began to glow again and this time he levitated knives and forks around his body. "You all have somepony who is special to you and I have no pony! Not one!" His voice was coarse from all the yelling he had done and he was starting to shake. He was weakened now, having used a good portion of his magic in his fits of rage.
 
"You're wrong, Crimson." Chocolate said deeply while stepping forward to join Starshy and Snowdream. "We all want to find that special somepony in our lives... If you are truly patient and believe in those around you, you will surely find that special somepony. But you can't continue doing this..." He said hoping some his words would help calm Crimson's rage.

"You're wrong, Crimson." Chocolate said deeply while stepping forward to join Starshy and Snowdream. "We all want to find that special somepony in our lives... If you are truly patient and believe in those around you, you will surely find that special somepony. But you can't continue doing this..." He said hoping some his words would help calm Crimson's rage.

 

"Exactly. forcing ponies to be in love with you isn't going ot work, esspecially when your threatening them. Love is a give and take thing. I think i can speak for all of us," Snowdream paused, gesturing to everypony in the room, "When i say that we all feel lonely at some point in our lives. But what you are doing is not the way to fix it!" Snowdream said, trying to sound firm but caring at the same time.

" That's not true. " Starshy shook her head. " I had.. someone, but he's left me.. " She felt a little embarrassed to admit this, but it was true. She was alone now.. again. She didn't want to dwell on that fact and had to be strong. It wouldn't be forever. " You have to listen to Chocolate and Snowdream.. and me. I'm without a special somepony and I'm not about to throw folks at ponies. " Her ears fell flat. " I can understand how you feel but doing this isn't right. "

I think i can speak for all of us," Snowdream paused, gesturing to everypony in the room, "When i say that we all feel lonely at some point in our lives. But what you are doing is not the way to fix it!" Snowdream said, trying to sound firm but caring at the same time.

Crimson's eyes shifted from pony to pony as he remained on defensive. There was no doubt their words were reaching him, but it was hard to tell if the unicorn was going to yield or not. "..." He looked down to the floor.

 

" That's not true. " Starshy shook her head. " I had.. someone, but he's left me.. " She felt a little embarrassed to admit this, but it was true. She was alone now.. again. She didn't want to dwell on that fact and had to be strong. It wouldn't be forever. " You have to listen to Chocolate and Snowdream.. and me. I'm without a special somepony and I'm not about to throw folks at ponies. " Her ears fell flat. " I can understand how you feel but doing this isn't right. "

The unicorn shed a few more tears then wiped his muzzle with his hooves. "I didn't want to hurt anyone... I just wanted..." He said with a sniffle. "I'm... done." Finally the unicorn ceased levitating the silverware around his body as they all fell to the floor with a loud clatter. He kept his eyes to the floor and didn't say a word to anyone. He was ashamed of how he had acted and very upset with himself and the others still. He looked to everypony then shakily fell to the floor. "Just go away and leave me alone." He said defeated as he turned his head and laid on the floor.

Night Song was still fighting back, but then she stopped when she heard Mask. "Mask! Thank goodness you're here!" she said, almost wanting to cry. She then felt the hold around her loosen(I'm assuming Crimson let her go?), so she took that opportunity to break free. She galloped up to Mask and threw her hooves around him.

Starshy left the scene, feeling that she too wanted to be alone. Maybe she'd head to the spa or pool where there was a hot tub. She could use the relaxation after that whole situation.

 

She sighed heavily as she walked down the hallway, her head hung low.

Blazing Storm searched within the resort for a long time and didn´t find Chocolate. A bit frustrated and hungry, she went into the direction of the dining hall. She would find him sooner or later, the resort was not a maze after all. But perhaps he was in his room ro take a nap or something like that? After all he had trained very hard. She entered the lobby and heared some ruckus from the dining hall and eating area. Was the food that bad today? She didn´t know so she went to the hall to check it out. On the time she got there she could watch that a couple of ponies where in the dining hall, all looking at some unicorn. She flapped with her wings to get a better look at the situation.

 

 

"Just go away! This doesn't concern you! You had your chance to be my special somepony but now it's too late, I choose this one."

 

Was this some kind of special somepony contest? She looked around and got sight of Chocolate, but he didn´t seem to be happy with the situation or the unicorn at all. Did this one cause trouble? She decided to listen to the conversation a bit longer before making rush judgement.

 

 

"I'm so alone and worthless. No special somepony, no cutie mark... none of you could ever understand!"

This seemed to be like a more delicate situation and there was nothing funny about that. The story to get a cutie mark was not always the best part in life to experience. Considering that she didn´t like the way she found out her cutie mark, she would love to change with this unicorn to not have a cutie mark at all. But she had earned her cutie mark, and she didn´t like the way she got it. Blazing landed on Chocolates back, light like a feather. "Hi there Chocolate... " she greeted him. She just waited for him to respond. Now was not the time to hug or to make jokes, so she just waited with pation, looking at the unicorn who was standing next to the wall. "Hmm... i´d love to trade my cutie mark for his blank flank..." she said and sighed.

Snowdream sighed, leaving the dining hall and walked up the saturs, headed towards her room. She unlocked the door, and walked in, expecting to see River waiting for her. Instead she found an empty room and a note on the dresser.

I have to return to Ponyville. I'm sorry, this isn't what i wanted to happen.

"What?" Snowdream gasped, her eyes welling with tears, "No! NO!" She wailed, galloping out of the room, the letter still in her magic grasp. She galloped back down the stairs, pushing her way through ponies in the lobby, untill she burst out the main doors.

 

Nothing

 

No figure in the distance, nor flying through the air. River was gone. She podded back into the lobby after ten minutes, flopping down on the couch, crying.

 

all she could think about, was the amount of time she had spent lying on this couch.

Starshy was making her way to the pool area where she noticed Snowdream pass by her. She didn't think anything of it and had gone back to her room to get a few things before coming back down. It wasn't until she saw the mare on the couch in the lobby - looking visibly upset. She could hear her quietly crying and wondered what was troubling her.

"THIS!" Snowdream sobbed, thrusting the note towards Starshy. She sniffed and wiped her red eyes with a hoof.

 

"What do you do... When someone you love leaves you?" Snowdream asked Starshy, gazing hat her with big glassy eyes, hoping that she held the answers to Snowdreams problems.

you know what they say, nothing lasts forever.” Snowdream smiled weakly. “I

suppose that it’s partially that I have had companionship for the first time in

my life, and I liked it, so I didn’t want to give it up…” Snowdream trailed off

Chocolate silently watched as all the ponies began to separate and disperse after the situation had finally took care of itself. Crimson wasn't going to mess with anyone anymore it seemed. He was about to turn and leave to check on the others when he felt a bit of weight on his back. 

 "Hi there Chocolate... " she greeted him. She just waited for him to respond. Now was not the time to hug or to make jokes, so she just waited with pation, looking at the unicorn who was standing next to the wall. "Hmm... i´d love to trade my cutie mark for his blank flank..." she said and sighed.

"Blaze?!" He asked caught off guard by her sudden appearance  He must have gotten so worked up from his training routine that he had forgotten her in the gym area. "..I'm sorry I left you back there. I must have gotten more worked up than I thought." He said letting his deep voice trail. He could hear her mention about wanting to be rid of her own cutie mark and he looked back to her. "Blaze..." He said softly as he began to walk out of the room with her still perched on his back, taking her with him back to his room. "Let's go..." He was going to have to have a one on one discussion, to hopefully cheer her up in the only way he knew how, being honest with her. But first, he had to head back to shower, he was still heavy with the scent of chocolate while he was sweaty.

Crimson was finally left alone as everypony left him as he had told them to. He opened his eyes and saw no pony around and lifted himself from the floor. The unicorn was now calm and rational, and he could see all the damage he had done to the resort. He lowered his head and his horn began to glow. Within minutes he had fixed what he could repair and set everything back to how it had been before his rampage. It was the least he could do after making a mule out of himself. 

 

The white and red unicorn began to head out, ready to leave the resort in shame but then noticed the same two mares from before (@@Fluttermoon,@@Snowdream, ). They both seemed very upset and one was in tears. At first, Crimson contemplated leaving without saying a word but then he took a deep breath and worked up all the courage and pride he could muster to approach them. He slowly and gingerly trotted towards them, "Hey..." He said trying to get their attention. He noticed they seemed very distant to him and his ears fell flat on his head, he knew he deserved it after what he had done. "I'm sorry for what I did to you." He said speaking to Snowdream at first then looked to Starshy as well. "Why are you both so sad?" He asked hoping the two would at least speak to him.

Snowdream glanced up to see Crimson. She no longer felt anything towards the stallion. Not hate, fear, perhaps a bit of pity?

"My colt friend left me." She said, bringing a fresh wave of grief. Her eyes flilled with more tears as she remembered the time she had shared with River.

Backing away from Starshy and Crimson, Snowdream turned tail and galloped towards the door, bucking it open and running outside.

 

She didn't know where she was going, she didn't even know why she was running, who she was running from, if anyone. All she knew is she was running, and somehow that would make everything better.

 

She didn't know how long she had been running for it could have been a few minutes or it could have been hours. It felt like centuries.

 

Exhausted Snowdream collapsed in the powdery white snow. She lay there to drained to do anything.

Starshy sat in silence for a while and when that same stallion from before came over to them and was addressing Snowdream, a fight broke out. Not a physical one but verbal. She had wanted to step in and say something but the words were not coming out.

 

When Snowdream left, she almost got up herself to chase after her but then figured it was best to leave the mare alone. Her eyes turned to glare at Crismon. "That was completely uncalled for!" She spat at him. Normally Starshy was a calm and gentle mare but when someone got on her nerves her dementor changed.

"Do you want to know the difference between what you did and what I am doing?" Snowdream snarled at him, "I am grieving, YOU were intentionally hurting ponies. HOW DARE YOU try and compare our situations! I can't fix this relationship! I don't even know where he lives! This is something that can't be fixed. SO JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" Snowdream shouted at the stallion, every head in the lobby turning to see what the commotion was about this time.

 

Crimson flinched when her voice became very loud. He could only watch as the blue unicorn took off from the lobby possibly to grieve in peace. He held a hoof up about to stop her when she ran outside. He turned to Starshy hoping she understood what he had been saying. 

"That was completely uncalled for!" She spat at him. Normally Starshy was a calm and gentle mare but when someone got on her nerves her dementor changed.

"I... I was just trying to help." Crimson said in a much softer tone. He gritted his teeth, no matter what he tried it always ended up in failure. He couldn't even talk to mares without upsetting them. Just then his eyes opened and he shook his head. "No! No no no no!" He began to yell in frustration. "I'm not going to mess this up too." He turned to Starshy and looked her in the eyes. "We have to go stop her before she gets lost out there." He said galloping to the doors. "You're her friend right? Come on! We can't just leave her out there like that, I have to apologize to her and make things right."

Starshy shook her head, rushing pass Crimson to head outside. She didn't feel like continuing their conversation, whenever it was leading. Snowdream wasn't really her friend, they hadn't really spoken but to each other but that didn't mean they couldn't be.

 

She had to find her. If Starshy had done the same thing it'd be a comfort to know that someone would go out and look for her.

 

She glanced around as she trotted out in the snow, calling out "Snowdream!" That maybe she would hear a responds.

Blaze looked down to him as he responded to her. "Ah, don´t mind. You got yourself all worked up and needed a shower. You shouldn´t worry about small things." she smiled at him. "So what happened here?" she asked him as he started to walk out of the dining hall with her still on his back and she smelled the flavour of chocolate in the air. She looked down on her hooves and he was still al sweaty. That reminded her to another thought she had earlier.

 

 

But first, he had to head back to shower, he was still heavy with the scent of chocolate while he was sweaty.

 

"If i lick your fur now, do i taste chocolate milk then?" she asked giggling a bit. She knew the answer already but she just had to ask. It was the time they reached his room. As he opened it, she flew into the room and lay down on the couch. "So you wanna get into the shower first? I´ll wait then i guess." she said and watched him a short time. Blaze remembered the unicorn with no cutie mark. She was just jealousas he was not forced on an ability or something like that. There were so many things that reminded her of her cutie mark, but she had no possibility to get a blank flank again.

Starshy shook her head, rushing pass Crimson to head outside. She didn't feel like continuing their conversation, whenever it was leading. Snowdream wasn't really her friend, they hadn't really spoken but to each other but that didn't mean they couldn't be.

 

She had to find her. If Starshy had done the same thing it'd be a comfort to know that someone would go out and look for her.

 

She glanced around as she trotted out in the snow, calling out "Snowdream!" That maybe she would hear a responds.

Snowdream faintly heard her name being called. She sat up for a moment, trying to decide wether she was just imagining that's sh heard her name.

 

She sat up, peaking over the bank of snow she had been lying behind. In the distance she saw the figures of Starshy and Crimson.

 

'What does he want now!' She sighed inwardly.

"So what happened here?" she asked him as he started to walk out of the dining hall with her still on his back and she smelled the flavour of chocolate in the air.

 As he walked through the halls and continued to speak while the mare stood on his back. "That unicorn you saw earlier, Crimson I believe. He was throwing a fit but I am not all too sure why." He explained. "Thankfully, the scene didn't escalate and it was resolved somewhat peacefully." 

 

"If i lick your fur now, do i taste chocolate milk then?" she asked giggling a bit. She knew the answer already but she just had to ask.

Just as he neared the hall where his room was located her question manage to fluster the giant stallion. She always knew what to say to mess with him. He stopped in place as his face burned red and he looked up to her shushing her with his hoof, hoping no pony else was around to hear them. "T-that question is highly inappropriate!" He exclaimed taking her little joke seriously like he always did. It was only after he heard her giggle that he took a deep breath and calmed himself. There weren't many things that caused the calm stallion to fluster but his scent and taste were one of them. "...Very funny." He mumbled under his breath as he smiled inwardly.

 

As they made it into his room, Blaze jumped off his back and flew to take a seat on the couch. He trotted past her and made way towards the bathroom. "Relax for a while, we can talk once I'm all cleaned up okay?" He said before leaving to the bathroom.

Snowdream nodded, she had started to get a bit chilly, and was thinking about going back to the resort anyway.

 

She sighed quietly, getting stiffly to her hooves. She didn't quite know how to react to Crimson yet, she certainly hasn't forgiven him, what he had said and done ran to deep to be healed by a simple, 'sorry'.

It had been foolish thinking on her part that she and Storm would have continued to be together after the trip was over. Crimson breathed out a sigh of relief when Snowdream agreed to head back to the resort with them. He could see the same look on Starshy's face as they all turned and trotted back through the snow. Crimson decided it would be best to stay quiet the remainder of the trip rather than try to talk to the emotionally distraught mares. It seemed all three of them had lost someone special to them.
