Tempest Chaser 45 January 12, 2013 Share January 12, 2013 http://www.derpyhoovesnews.com/little-brown-book-gets-licensing-deal-with-hasbro-5-books-due-out-spring-2013/ So there is the story about how this company got a book deal with Hasbro. Then I looked on Amazon and saw the book was a 160 pages long. I kept trying to find information on the book but come up empty handed. Does anyone else know anything about this? I mean we know the author G.M. Berrow but that's about it. My Youtube Reviews * My Fanfics * My OC * My Webpage
Shawn Parks 1,798 June 14, 2013 Share June 14, 2013 I read it and I thought that it was pretty good. I noticed a few things that were added for the Bronies, like Twilight calling Cadence her Pegasister-in-Law. I am looking forward to reading the Pinkie Pie book next. Zygen 6,066 June 14, 2013 Share June 14, 2013 I haven't read it, I heard of it before though, but I don't know much about it, so I don't know what to say. I probably won't be getting it being a closet brony, but it sounds interesting. As much as I don't really care for reading a whole lot, I would be cool with reading that book. Thanks to Gone Airbourne for the awesome sig! My Oc's, Ponysona, Bella Vocal Covers Blog, MLP Covers Thread
OtakuBrony 349 June 14, 2013 Share June 14, 2013 Howdy folks! Picked up the book & I liked it. Has more depth to the story. (Plus a backstory I wont say who though hehe) Similar to a episode of the series. Cant wait for Pinike Pie's book in July.
Commander_PonyShep 349 June 14, 2013 Share June 14, 2013 I've read the book just to see Twilight's new post-coronation lifestyle, and it was actually good. It was short because it lasted around one-hundred thirty pages, but that's because it's a children's book. But really, my favorite part is that it recognized that Twilight still doesn't have to do everything alone, and that she still has her friends to help her, only this time on her journey to full leadership status. In the story, she was suggested by Princess Cadence to seek advice from Twilight's friends, not just because they've always helped her since the beginning, but also because they had as much of a say in Equestrian politics as she did. Yes, she was given bad advice by Gilda the Griffon, namely that she should ignore her friends and only do what she and she alone wants to do for Equestria. But by the end, Twilight would snap back to reality and understand that she does need help from her friends, especially on important advice on how to lead Equestria. Shawn Parks 1,798 June 14, 2013 Share June 14, 2013 Was there anything in the book that didn't make sense to you, based on what you understand about the show? For example, the book said that Cloudsdale was above a park in Ponyville. How could that be?
