Normally, I don't care about entertainment news, especially for a show I don't watch. But plagiarism is something I truly abhor. Apparently, Glee used a rendition of "Baby Got Back" originally drawn up by Jon Coulton (many know him from his "Still Alive" song in Portal) without crediting him nor contacting him to ask if they could use his rendition of the Sir Mix-a-Lot hit.

If you watch Glee and they air this episode without even a shred of credit to the man who came up with it, remember that Glee did not make the acoustic version of the song. Give credit where it is due. Jonathon Coulton is an awesomely talented man.

 

Here's a link to the Kotako article.  The article includes two Youtube videos of both songs, one from Jonathon in 2006 and, the other, from the upcoming episode of Glee.  Play them and judge for yourself but there is no denying it is a spot on match.
