Anyone know how to uncover closet Bronies?

Okay, this might sound weird, but bare with me, this is all for a good manner.

So, at my school I have about 2 friends who are Bronies BUT a few days that we get to wear our normal clothes (My school is catholic so we wear uniforms... *sigh*) I, most of the time wear my pony shirts, hoodies, etc... and over those days I've gotten some *brohoofs* and thumbs up from random people around my school. But the problem is, most of them I don't know or can't remember.

One thing I do know is a lot of people in my school are closet Bronies, and I respect them for that cause my school is all about fitting in or you're an outcast, as for me, I don't care what people think, I love to stand out from the crowd. Back on topic, I was wondering if anyone knew any techniques that I could use to find closet Bronies around my school since we rarely get to wear our normal clothing.

I have thought about making a school club for after hours but I'm not sure if that'd work out as planned, since I think most of my school would just join to troll or just laugh at the idea.

So, anyone know of anything to do to get the Bronies their attention?

thanks :)

As many people will probably tell you, the best way to find them is to use references. Fans of the show will recognise phrases like "20% cooler" and those who aren't fans of the show won't give it a second thought.

I agree that references to the show that non-bronies would not get is probably your best bet. But even if they are closet bronies, if they want to be closet bronies they should be able to stay that way. But it's always a nice thing to know, I suppose.

Also, about being an outcast, in my school I generally had an entire lunch table to myself. That is, until I started to act like myself, and became extremely popular. I'm not saying that being yourself will make you popular all of the time but it's at least worth a shot if you already aren't popular.

I still hang out with some of the friends I made in school.

hmm idk maybe we should all tattoo the symbol "pi" on our pinkies when we extend the brohoof or sumthin. lol, but seriously we should just hang with em and eventually they might come out.

You can draw them out with references but it could also backfire, while I don't think it is healthy to be in the closet about anything certain people in their lives like parents or friends may not be very understanding about it. The best bet seems to be to gain their trust is to be patient and understanding.

Go break into your school's office and play Smile Smile Smile over the intercom during the middle of an exam. Anyone who sings along to it is a confirmed brony.

Best ways:

If you go to school wearing a Brony shirt, or some other form of clothing that does with Bronies, if they identify it with enthusiasm, then they are most likely a Brony.

That is about the only way I know how to identify them.

Are you allowed to wear wristbands or pin stuff to whatever you carry stuff in?  If so, that's just as good as wearing the shirts, and it's also more subtle.  I also have to agree with the references.  "20% cooler", "the fun has been doubled" or other similar phrases would be easily recognized.

My friend's know I'm a brony, there's no argument or anything and they aren't biased nor do they care lol

Any way you can always start a club if you want, or to the people you think are bronies just be like "hey, you a brony?" cuz that's what my friend did to me but it turns out he wasn't a brony, but it's all cool cuz we're still friends and hopefully your friends wont judge
