Some stuff I decided to haul out of my dA account. And everyone wonders why my ponies look funny sometimes... I draw furry stuff, and dragons! *mutter* and I'm still developing my style.

 

SO. In the first pic is my bobcat fursona, Cara Mia. *stares at upload box* I uploaded the right one... I think... AHAH. I did. Anyways... please excuse any weird lighting. Still working on that.

 

In the second pic is my dragon OC, Fletcher. This is a promo poster for a comic I was going to do with him in it... and then my artblock set in, and I couldn't draw him for almost a month, and now dragons are like rubix cubes to me ;-; His wings are ugly, and the lighting sucks. Ohwell. It's a good face shot of him though.

 

And, finally, in the third pic, is a birthday thing I did for my cat, Trashcat. I love that cat too much :3 He's turning two on Easter Sunday. *stares at Cara's ears* My dear, your ears are too long.

Cute! How long have you been drawing? I know others have problems adjusting anatomy's of other species. I have a friend who loves to draw wolves & foxes. [is a Kitsune xP] However... she is HORRIBLE at drawing humans. xD

I've been drawing for about a year, started around September of 2011, in the back row of my Life Science class XD I started off with dragons, which gave me a whole lot of insight on drawing other stuffs. I can't really draw wolves, or any sort of canine at all, and humans are... well, drawing people is like solving a rubix cube blind while a roomful of terrorists scream at you in a foreign language XD Honestly, so long as I have a picture of the animal up, and I just think about how the animal is built, I can draw it fairly easily, so long as my skeleton doesn't screw me up.

That's awesome, only been a year and you draw like that. I'll just stick to my stick figures. XD I don't think I'll ever be able to draw anything decent with the medical problem I have with my wrists. ;~; Oh well.. Can't wait to see how your art improves over another year!
