I actually noticed this too, being a fan of Knight Rider, and I am also wondering about this. If there is a connection, that would be cool. The classic Knight Rider was so cool in so many ways and M. A. Larson has written awesome episodes on MLP so... ... yeah, that'd be cool.

Glen A. Larson created Battlestar Galactica, too. Now, shall a FIM spin-off feature the Twelve Colonies of Mare or something? Lyron, Twilyon, Trixini Pinkamena, Apple Acres, Rariton, Lunis, Scootalon?
