Am I seriously the only one who doesn't like the .MOV series?

After watching SWAG.MOV, I reflected on the whole series to give a slightly second opinion.

 

Really, as a whole, I just didn't like the series much. Sure the animation is well done and the voice acting is good, but it is just one of those things where you watch it once, maybe chuckle at the jokes, then never watch again, because if you do, the jokes become groan worthy, at least for me they did. A lot of it reminded me of Adult Swim, where the apparent notion is if you throw a bunch of drugs, violence, and complete randomness at something, that automatically makes it funny and edgy. For me, Apple.mov and Dress.mov are the only ones that brought actual entertainment. It is also clear that the ideas were running very thin closer to the end, with Party and Swag being incredibly stale.

 

I am not against dark humor like this, but I personally have had enough of it for a good while. Again, it is well made, but if I want dark and depressing humor, I would just watch the news.

I personally really like the series, especially Jappleack's Tumblr. As some already said, the animation and artwork is great and in my opinion, most of the jokes are funny. I also think think that one of the things that makes the series humorous are the voices of the characters. Sometimes the jokes are too simple or offensive, like the Mexican workers, but there are also things that really crack me up.

I like. Violenr in ways, but I still like it. The new SWAG.MOV is like some special. The shed one is epic. I don't see why some people don't like it. It's cool.The Rarity disgust me though. The rest is fine. Twilight is the same.
