craft Here and There Again

A few years ago, I started a sprite comic series on a forum a was a regular on. Now, because it was a few years ago, back then my humor wasn't that great. Back then, I decided to make some random comics. I named the series "Segendo" because it featured characters from both sega and nintendo. Not exactly the most original of names. Anyway, later on I decided to make a series with a continuing storyline instead. I titled it...

 

The series still didn't start out too great, and after 12 comics I happened to end up banned from the forum I was a regular on. So I gave up on the series. (No, I wasn't banned because of the comics.) Something like 6 months later, today, I decided to continue the series on another forum. So I chose this one. Now, you will notice that after comic 12 there will be a slight noticeable jump in quality. Keep in mind that comic 12 of here and there again and all the ones before that were made at least a year ago. So don't judge my current sense of humor from them.

Comic 1: The Beginning

COMMENTARY: Yay new series! Notice: The next comic has an actual background.

Comic 2: Introduction

COMMENTARY: I originally intended to add the background in the last panel and have mario surprised at it.
Unfortunately I forgot about that and put the same background throughout the whole strip.

 

 

Comic 3: The adventure begins

COMMENTARY: Don't worry, you won't have to worry about getting bored from this. I have the comic planned out pretty far.

 

 

Comic 4: Foreshadowing

COMMENTARY: I think you can tell something's gonna happen.

 

 

Comic 5: Introducing: The Author

COMMENTARY: And... something happened. In case you're wondering, that recolor of Mario represents me. More will be revealed about me later on.

 

 

Comic 6: Redundancy

COMMENTARY: I realized it would be hard to come up with enough humor to put mario through his own games, so... you'll see.

 

 

Comic 7: Someplace green with lots of hills

COMMENTARY: Here we go. Mario will have a hard time getting through sonic's world. Especially if he has anything broken after sonic accidentally attacked him.

 

 

Comic 8: Introducing: Sonic the hedgehog

COMMENTARY: Wait, they know each other?

 

 

Comic 9: Arguments

COMMENTARY: Ah, rivals can never get along for extended periods of time. All for the sake of humor.

 

 

Comic 10: Explanations

COMMENTARY: Wait, I never introduced myself?

 

 

Comic 11: What's the fourth wall?

COMMENTARY: Yes, I'm gonna be breaking the fourth wall a LOT in this comic.

 

 

Comic 12: Special Effects

COMMENTARY: This was mainly a test for the motion blur.
