The Alicorn Chronicles: An Interactive Fiction

Discover Equestria's Hidden Past....

 

Hey everypony! I'm writing an interactive fiction called "The Alicorn Chronicles" which explores the history of Equestria through the eyes of a librarian. I was very inspired by Alex Hirsch's Gravity Falls, which is full of  codes and conspiracy theories for viewers to solve on their own. In that same vein The Alicorn Chronicles is written as a series of stories and clues the entwine and intermingle, and plenty of hidden messages for the readers to discover.

 

The Story is still in its early stages, but I am writing a new entry almost daily, so keept checking back for more, and please leave a comment or critique here or on Blogspot. I love hearing from you guys!

Update 3/06:

A new page has been added, titled "Magic on My Mind"

After Red Velvet's visit a few days ago, I simply cannot get that remark she said out of her mind. What if there -was- some way for non unicorns to use magic? I know we're all familiar with potions--there's many an earth pony who can do some amazing things with her mixtures, but I mean real, honest to goodness spellcasting. Has such a thing ever been attempted? Since I've nothing to look forward to except for Red Velvet's occasional visit, I think this would be a nice research project to embark upon!

My research about non-unicorn magic has led me to all sorts of sources, but I think the best place to start is looking at great potionmakers. A thousand years ago Zircona was the greatest potion maker that ever lived; in fact, many in her time considered her to be quite the oracle, because she was so good at foreseeing the future. If anyone knew about non-unicorn magic, it had to be her.
