Will Twilight become an alicorn for the comics?

For me, I highly doubt it.  The comics are supposed to take place between Seasons 2 and 3, and because they're more geared toward bronies than little girls, that means Twilight would stay a unicorn for the remainder of the comics, just so that said bronies can get their fix of normal, unicorn Twilight, while said little girls get their Twilicorn fix in the upcoming fourth season.

 

And yes, another reason I said this is because I'm still Anti-Twilicorn, and will always be until the end of time.  Though, I can understand why she had to become an alicorn princess: Because she was raised by Princess Celestia to become one, with her five friends acting as training wheels to ruling an entire nation.

Well, she's not turning into one from what I've seen, (though I'm just going by shots on the internet. I won't own an MLP comic until the TP graphic novel comes out) and I'm sure I read a quote somewhere that said IDW weren't in direct contact with the writers as far as planning the stories go. (could be wrong on that one but I think I saw it)

 

It depends. They could either stick with their own 'world' as it were and have everything theoretically take place before season 3, but who knows if they jump forward in time after a particular story arc? To be fair, if they were considering making her an alicorn in the comics they'd probably want to wait until season 4 is fully underway, since they wouldn't want to tread old ground or end up with story ideas almost identical to the episodes.

 

So... I voted maybe. They could quite easily do it either way since it has no effect on the show itself.

from the first 4 it doesn't look like it will happen.

 

With the new ark i have no idea weather it will happen or not, so long as they do it in a good way (and so far the comics have been awesome and i have no reason to doubt them) then i wouldn't mid it

If the comics do it they will probably do it in a way that makes a lot more sense than how they have done it in the show so far I can say that much.

It's too early to say. The comic editor hadn't even heard of the whole Twilicorn thing until the official announcement, and said it would be a long time before they could possibly add her. However, since they've said that it would be harder to keep the show and the comic in the same timeline in the future, I'm hoping they split them apart and keep Twilicorn in the show.
