I'm new. My Story: Brony --> Nonbrony --> Brony after S3 Finale

Hi there. I'm ThePilotGuy. 

 

My Story:

 

The first thing you should know about me is that I was a brony about a year ago and had become an admin on another, rather large brony forum (not going to mention the name for the sake of manners).

 

I then left that forum because it had filled up with trolls and I felt it wasn't worth my time. Afterwards, I left MLP altogether and basically left bronydom. In the time since, I hadn't seen or read anything about MLP besides on various forum avatars and signatures-- but that changed today.

 

Today I decided to watch the Season 3 finale just for the heck of it. Oh gosh, that was the best MLP episode. Ever. That was what I always wanted to see since I watched the first season. And since there's a season four, I'm back to bronydom. So yay.

I like to code, I'm good with java and have worked on a few server plugins for Minecraft servers as well as Minecraft mods. I have been moderating the official Minecraft forums for about a year now, and you can contact me there for the quickest response available since I'm literraly overly active there. I also have been playing piano for about 12 years, so I'm good with music/instruments.

As for java... I'm one of those C++ people. I can't bash you for programming though. (even if the language you use is silly)

The reason I know java so well is because of Minecraft. I haven't had a need to learn C++, though I've thought about it. Maybe in the future, though.

You do coding for java? thats pretty cool, I've thought about doing some coding myself a couple times, but overall I'm still undecided on my actual calling.

 

And you play the piano for 12 years? Thats quite a long time . I wanna learn to play Piano myself, I play trumpet and am learning guitar right now, but I also wanna get myself a keyboard and teach myself some piano with it. Maybe I'll get one soon for my birthday or something idk .

Oh, ok well never mind then. Still the people here are quite nice and great people to be around for the most part, the only real trolling that happens is just for jokes and stuff .

 

Hopefully you enjoy it here a bit more then the other forum.

You have quite an interesting story there, pal. Glad to see you're back with the herd once again, and I hope this stay will be a little more-troll free. This forum seems a lot better about that, trust me.

As for coding, I've never messed around with java myself. I know C and a bit of Perl and SQL.
