Hi, I'm Blackalmondjelly : )

 

I used to be one of those baffled by My Little Pony's unusually broad fanbase, and thought to myself, "There has to be a reason why."

 

A bit reluctant, I decided to check out the first episode and I immediately fell in love. I ended up watching the entire first season in one sitting, haha. MLP was much more than what I expected. The wonderful voice acting, lovable character design, and true to life lessons.

 

Fluttershy is my favourite for more reason than one, heck her colour scheme alone was my favourite colour scheme ever since I was little, haha.

 

A little about me:

- Fluttershy's personality is the easiest way to describe the type of person I am.

- I have a degree in Sound Design

I too was quite confused when I first learned of the Brony fandom back in April of 2011. At the time I watched the first two episodes and thought it was alright, nothing too special and nothing I'd be interested in watching.

 

About a year later, I became a Brony as well after watching through the first season in about two weeks. And like you did with the first season, I watched the entire second season in one sitting.

 

Fluttershy is pretty awesome, I s'pose. A degree in Sound Design? Interesting! I'm sure you'll be welcome here, especially if you can help out fan projects with your skills.

I got into MLP about summer of 2012, after season 2 already, but it got me instantly hooked, I marathoned the first 2 seasons and it´s just a wondeful show with an awesome fanbase.

Hope you enjoy it here, I found a lot of real friends here soon, and everyone is super-nice and friendly! Make sure to check out everything on here, always something to do, discuss, cool people to talk to and much more.

Hey, I am also new to these Forums, but, I used to not be  a Brony too.

 

        I have a Sister who was watching it. I thought the show was dumb, but I never realized I would be come a Brony. And I became on fast (Over a matter of a weekend.)! I watched all of season 1 in a weekend. I have no recollection of me having watched a show so quick. I have grown to love MLP:FiM about 1 and a half after my introduction to it. And since there is only a hand full of bronies at my school, I wanted to be able to talk to other people about MLP. Thus, me coming to the Forums. I am new to forums  and hope it will be a great experience. Hopefully, interacting with fellow bronies, and pagasisters will make my life about 20% cooler!
