Hi... I guess i'm new

I'm new to this whole "Forum" thing and wouldn't mind if someone cared to help me out with it. (It would be greatly appreciated!)

 

(And I don't know where I could bring this subject up its just been bothering me so sorry if it doesn't have anything to do or related with "Welcoming Plaza")

But my main concern is the Princess's name I understand why Princess Luna has her name since she is in charge of Lunar events...etc but Princess Celestia's name has nothing to do with the Sun?!

 

Celestia is all about the Sky & Heavens & Astronomy and the Universe all together and I can see where they drew those parallels but it doesn't really relate to her responsibility for raising the Sun. Shouldn't her name have more heliocentric/solar properties and what not? I mean her cutie mark is a Sun for crying out loud!

 

I might just be thinking way to hard about it but it seems like it would make a little more sense... maybe?
