What is a good free animation software? I'm looking to get into mlp animating. and also does anyone know where i could find good and detailed mlp puppets which include background ponies?

Well I know a good gif program what is an free and easy to use, it is called unfreeze and it is really easy to use, you just put pictures (You have to change them from PNGs to GIFs) And add all the frames.

If you want puppet animation I would assume you mean flash and there is a way to get it for 'free' but its a creative meathod. at that point I would suggest studying the double rainboom animation rigs and expanding thier design for your needs

Just Use Gif's! Im new at Fl and i just use gifs don't go pro right away!    i suggest getting that pack of Double rainboom files and that should do the trick!
