Briar glanced down to her hooves for a moment, before back up to the face of the stallion. "What if... What if the ponies can't turn back to normal afterwards?" She inquired, her wings drooping, like her falling hope. "What if... they're stuck as zomponies?" She inquired.

"There is a way to turn them back. But it is one of the trickiest spells to learn. And if you don't get it right, grave things might happen..." Thunder Dash said. "Now let's hurry. We must get to Rune while we still have the chance." Thunder Dash said rising into the air flying away.

Briar quickly lifted up into the air aswell, trying to leave her troubles behind her. "Okay, I guess... We need to study up on that spell while we can." She responded trying to keep pace with Thunder. "Do you know what nature the spell is of?" She inquired, knowing certain spells could be of differant elements.

"I know healing spells and restoration spells. But this is gonna be a bit new. Do you know any restoration spells, because this spell we need is the hardest restoration spell that's out there, and we must learn it as fast as we could. If we could just learn that spell, then we could have a bigger advantage." Thunder Dash said.

"Yeah... I know some... their plant element though." Briar responded, stretching her wings out, letting them carry her over the clouds. "Do we have any record of the spell... any books?" She asked, trying to recall if she seen any books on such thing in Twilight's library.

He then envisioned Twilight's library in his mind. However, he remembered a special restoration spell he had taught himself. "Wait a sec. A while ago, I taught myself a restoration spell that lifts the effects of transformation, such as zombie infection." He realized. "It'll be hard to teach it to you though. I know Twilight has the book with that exact spell in it, but I can't remember which one." Thunder Dash said.

"Then... how do we go about getting the spell age?" Briar tuffed pulling forward abit, showing she was much better accustomed to her temporary wings. "I think I might know a find-it spell." She added, remembering a spell she had read a long time back. "But... It will take time to gather the things needed to make it."

Thunder Dash thought. He then remembered something he did unconciously long ago. He then thought of the pages that contained the spell in his mind. While he did this, he gathered electricity. A small wind started to stir. Something was going on. The wind gathered and formed a mini tornado. Soon, the mini tornado was gathering a mysterious energy coming from Thunder Dash. His pendant wasn't glowing at all. He then began to see images of sheets of paper inside the tornado. Then, the tornado shrunk and special book was revealed. Thunder Dash was breathing heavily after this. He even almost collapsed, but was still able to maintain himself. "There...that....should do it." Thunder Dash said catching his breath.

Briar had taken refudge from the mini-tornado. "T-Thunder?!" She squealed softly, looking up from the top of a tree in which she had hidden. Her black ears adjusted, listening carefully for any sound indicating that the stallion was alright. Naturally, she was quite worried about him.

Thunder Dash looked for Briar. He then found her in a tree. "It's alright Briar, you can come down now." He said with a smile, waiting for her to come down. While he waited, he went to inspect the book that contained the restoration spell Briar needed to learn.

Briar slowly floated down from the tree tops. "I-is this it?" She inquired, studying the book abit closer, looking for any clues to the answer for her question. She glanced back up to Thunder, suddenly sure this was it. She proceeded to flip threw it, quickly finding the spell.

"You must learn that spell as quickly as possible, for there will be more zombie ponies ahead." Thunder Dash warned as he kept watch making sure no zombie ponies were in sight. Suddenly, a zompegasus spotted them. Thunder Dash quickly turned and saw the zompegasus charging at them. He gathered energy for a restoration shot. He shot it at the zompegasus, which then fell from the sky. Thunder Dash caught it in his magic. He then set it down to the ground. It slowly reverted to the real pegasus it once was and that pegasus was Cloud Chaser. "W-w-w-where am I?" She asked dazed and confused. "You were transformed into a zombie pegasus and tried to attack us. You must find some place safe to hide. In fact, there's a little cottage just south of here." He pointed. "But you can stay with us for time being. Just be warned, it's very dangerous. "I-I-I don't know..." Cloud Chaser said. "I-I think I'm going back to Cloudsdale." She concluded. "But it may not be safe up there. Zombie ponies of all species have already infested Canterlot." Thunder Dash warned, but Cloud Chaser had already left.

Briar quickly picked the book up, placing it safely in her saddle bag. "C'mon, theres a cave over here where we can hide." She ushered the stallion, as she took off in the direction of the cavern. She would also use the spell to seal them in, and keep the zomponies out.

Thunder Dash followed quickly behind Briar to the cave. "I sure hope no zomponies are hiding in the cave, or we'll be ambushed." Thunder Dash said. When they got to the cave, he sat down and waited for Briar to seal the cave. "Ok Briar, do your stuff." He said waiting for Briar to gather her magic and seal up the cave.

Briar inspected the cave, once sure there was nothing hiding in it, she began to activate her magic. Vines once again appeared, and began to seal up the entrance, leaving them in total darkness. "H-Hold on." She whispered, using her magic to use the spell she had cast in Celestia's castle. Purple lotuses appeared, illuminating the darkness.

Thunder Dash watched as the lotuses started to light. "Seems like those lotuses are kind of dim." Thunder Dash said as he continued to walk forward and follow Briar. Thunder Dash used his energy sensing spell. "No sign of zombie ponies in here." He said affirmatively.

"S-Sorry." Briar whispered, attempting to make the glow of the flowers brighter. It almost failed, but they some how became brighter in the end. "T-There." She whispered, laying down with the book. She had noticed, it was significantly colder in the cave now, it was enough to cause a shiver.

Thunder Dash continued his pace, keeping his energy sensing spell armed at all times. He then began to think about Cloudsdale again and his sister Rainbow Dash, who was back there. He hoped and prayed that she wasn't infected by a zombie pegasus or any type of zombie pony and transformed.
