Scootalove 10,689 March 9, 2014 Share March 9, 2014 I'm proud of being a brony, though I keep it to myself I can honestly say that I don't associate myself with most of my friends since they are too busy in their cliques. I'll have to stay under the radar until it's safe and sound. 1 Credit: Moony © Forum FAQ Forum Rules
Twilight The Creator 298 March 9, 2014 Share March 9, 2014 I'll be a freshman in highschool in September, so I guess I count. I'm more open about my being a brony, and I've got brony friends as well. It's alright, except for that occasional idiot who thinks I'm gay. But then again, whatcha gonna do? Kill People, Burn Shit, Fuck School. -Tyler the Creator
SomariFeyWright 776 March 9, 2014 Share March 9, 2014 Well, this is a rather interesting topic because I don't really seem to have it as bad as most people. Ever since I left my EXTREMELY judgemental elementary school and moved to a new town, everyone I've met has been really accepting of me and my interests and fandoms. I've literally only gotten one person to judge me at all and they weren't even worth taking seriously. My friends accept it, my family accepts it, the general public of the school accepts it (with one or two exceptions, but they just don't know any better)... I really haven't had many problems with people in high school. As for hate, it depends on what's being hated on. If you're hating on me as a person, I don't get too bothered. If you're hating on my fandoms, I get very heated and get desperate to defend them. And if you're hating on any of my friends, I have a few choice words for you... Awesome signature made by Tromino. Felix 1,363 March 9, 2014 Share March 9, 2014 I'll be a sophomore this September. I don't know a single brony though. I kind of try seeing if one of you guys on here would go to the same school as me. I don't like being a closet brony. But since my school has a lot of judgmental people and I'm the way I am I have trouble simply ignoring those judgements and saying who cares. It would be nice having a brony friend. I don't hang out with many people, except for lunch, but I only talk to one of the people at the table. He's not a brony but he likes Nintendo and stuff like I do. Verily British 145 March 9, 2014 Share March 9, 2014 I'm in my last year of high school, sitting my final exams in a couple of months before moving on to collage or an apprenticeship. Quite frankly, judging from the posts on this thread, I've gotten off rather easily. I became open about my love of MLP around June last year and aside from the rare jab everyone just treats me like the creepy psychopath that I am. I remember one time when me and my friends were spending our lunch break in my school's graphic design department, like we always do, and one of my friends went to go to the toilet. So me and my friends went on his computer and changed his background so that it had a picture of Cadance on it. When he came back in he just looked at it and said "Ah man, I'm f****** lovin' it".
