Anyways, I'm a new brony fresh outta the oven. Well, to be honest I'm not sure I'd actually classify myself as a bona fide brony...I enjoy the show and fan art immensely, but within my circle of friends I tend to keep it to myself unless somepony specifically asks me.

 

That's not to say I'm ashamed of it though, it's just on a need-to-know basis with me. Otherwise, I'm secure enough in my masculinity to watch just about anything and still feel studly. Hell, after sitting through Princess Tutu, I don't think I have anything left to prove... XD Either way, I figured it'd be fun to join a dedicated community for MLP since I enjoy bonding with others over any fandom.

 

Anyway, bit about me: I work full time as an accountant (my lousy dayjob); I play bass and write music for my band (my awesome "life's passion" job); and somewhere in between all of that I squeeze in some classes at my local community college. Before life got so busy, video games used to be a huge part of it, and I'm a sucker for all the classics like Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy, Sonic, Mega Mare (lol), and a ton of others.

 

I got interested in MLP after seeing so many pony memes strewn about ze interwebs, and even though I went into it with the open-minded-but-still-tentative "I hope this isn't going to be as gay as the haters make it out to be" mindset, I was pleasantly surprised with what I got, so...now I'm a fan. I can't really choose a concrete favorite of the Mane 6, but I guess Rainbow Dash is up there for me, mostly because she's brash like me...that and all her flying scenes involve some ROCKIN' GUITAR in the background. My next favorites would probably be AJ and Pinkie.

 

So I hope that's good for an establishing intro post, hope to get to know everypony in time!
