I was looking on Toy Wiz, which shows you upcoming new MLP merchandise, and I cam across this little thing:

Who is this Apple Sprout? Maybe a missing Apple Family member? Looks like a recolored Scootaloo.

On mlp wikia it says the following on "Liberty Belle"

 

"Appears in Apple Family Reunion and Magical Mystery Cure. Has a unicorn horn in one shot at the end of the former episode and on WeLoveFine's fan-designed art print "Apple Family Portrait". Shares Apple Bloom's color scheme. Resembles Apple Sprout, but has a different eye color."

Toys =/= Show

 

The toys are a horrible choice of speculation, honestly, while they sometimes do come true (Canterlot Wedding), there's a bunch of them, but they don't ever appear in canon.

lol I wouldn't toss out the possibility there'll be more of this character in the show. Even though yeah the show's better than the old one, they were all made to advertise toys. Look at friggin' Alicorn for example, there was toys and weird promotional stuff of that advertised almost a whole friggin' year before it hit the fan.
